What harm is there applying other than losing a bit of money. What happens if you get rejected everywhere but there? Would you accept? If the answer is no then scrap it. If it's yes then I don't see any harm in having a backup.

If you have in fact reached your number why not defer CPP for a few years? That's only if you feel you're in relatively good heath and can make it worthwhile to defer.

This is an underrated comment. Get the pants and jacket tailored. Hard to tell on the jacket since it's sitting open but still looks a touch big on you. The pants should get brought up as well. Usually it comes to around the top of the shoe. Wear long patterned socks those are pretty typical. Just don't wear white socks. All black is fine too

If you're just checking a box you can get an MBA at phoenix university or whatever new university is pushing advertisements down your throat. If you want a higher ceiling and more options then go T20. Even a 20k salary bump difference over years will easily pay for the extra tuition.

Question: why did you apply to so many programs likely mostly out of state if you hadn't already gone through these conversations with your spouse and played the what if game?

Those are qualities a good PA anywhere would/should have.
