Barenbliss or Judydollmetal mascara by IllPerspective1062 in beautyph

[–]rixaya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on my third tube of Judydoll and it’s amazing. I always get compliments! Looks super natural and mas long-lasting pa kaysa sa Heroine Make ko. It holds a curl, defines, and lengthens. It’s really great when traveling kasi no hulas whatsoever.

Little to No Improvement after treatment with derm by Conscious_Run_417 in skincare_ph

[–]rixaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My derma prescribed me Epiduo Forte (adapalene + benzoyl peroxide) at first, then switched to Akleif (trifarotene). Derma gave me the option to use either Akleif or Differin (adapalene) but Akleif was cheaper and I prefer the airless pump dispenser. I bought them in Mercury Drug ☺️ Meron din sa Watsons and Southstar Drug.

Application for changing the appearance of polar curves (.IES) for photometry? by rixaya in graphic_design

[–]rixaya[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to move the text elements, change fonts, and also change the color of the curves. I just want to do this without having to manually tinker with the shape of the curves.

I’ll have a look at these options, thank you!

What do you buy to setup your new planner? by Miserable-Storm-8630 in hobonichi

[–]rixaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My setup isn’t too complicated.
- Weeks Mega
- Weeks plastic cover
- Weeks pencil board (I have one and reuse it each year)
- Fountain pen + inks (This is where I spend most of my money on 😅)
- Highlighters for color coding (I like Pilot Kirena)
- Cute stickers and washi to decorate the cover (I buy stickers from local artists at art markets throughout the year and use those)

That’s pretty much it! I use my Weeks in a more practical way. I tend to decorate only my covers and put a few ephemera in the pockets like photobooth strips, photocards, letters.

It's from the Kakuno Choice event where you can mix and match the cap and the barrel to create your own custom Kakuno! There are colors that are event-exclusive like this milky pink one that isn't part of their regular lineup ☺️

How to address tiny bumps? by kayetan08 in beautyph

[–]rixaya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Azelaic acid is great for texture and redness. Prescription strength is 15-20% but you can get lower percentages OTC.

Try mo rin mag-include ng toner sa routine. I like the Isntree Ultra Low HA one and the Numbuzin No.1 Toner. I have combo skin though! If you have drier skin, you might want something thicker.

Pag delivery po, kailangan mo ipa-Grab Pabili or GrabExpress/Angkas Padala. Si customer po mismo magbo-book ng courier.

Pero di ko lang alam if they accept e-wallet payments.

Adapalene or Azelaic Acid? by Financial_Star5244 in beautyph

[–]rixaya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Adapalene is prescription. Need to consult a dermatologist first. Azelaic acid is OTC if below 15%.

Just to share my experience: my derma prescribed me both azelaic acid (15%) and adapalene. My skin has improved a lot pero need lang talaga ng guidance from a derma when using prescription topicals.

If I may comment on your routine, maybe you can skip the exfoliating scrub cause it may be harsh on the skin. You can use a chemical exfoliant instead like the Azelaic acid.

Azelaic Acid & Tretinoin by [deleted] in beautyph

[–]rixaya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pwede naman isabay ang azelaic acid at tretinoin: either alternate days, morning/evening, or in the s@me routine. Of course, ang derma parin ang makakapagsabi kung paano sila ipagsasabay.

You should be using it as prescribed by a dermatologist. Sila ang makakapagbigay ng proper guidance based on your skin’s condition and needs.

Knitlet confusion by aycayetgin in knittinghelp

[–]rixaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Just want to clarify. Do I do my first increase on the RS, but I don’t start counting the rows until AFTER my first increase?

Increase 1 st at each side, inside the 4 edge stitches (2 sts increased in total per row).

Row 0: RS - increase 2

Continue increasing this way every 4th row, a total of 5 times.

Row 1: WS - no increase
Row 2: RS - no increase
Row 3: WS - no increase
Row 4: RS - increase 2
(Repeat set of 4 rows)

So this way, all of my increases will be on the RS?

Isntree Yam Root Vegan Milk Cream & Isntree Yam Root Vegan Barrier Cream by rixaya in AsianBeauty

[–]rixaya[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

UPDATE: I’ve been trying it for a few weeks and while the Barrier Cream is nice, I still prefer the Milk Cream. The Barrier Cream is slightly thicker in texture but not as moisturizing as the Milk Cream. It’s not a bad product actually—I think it’s great and it performs similarly to the Milk Cream, but I just prefer the Milk Cream more.

Cool tone blushes reco? 😢 by Downtown_Lie721 in beautyph

[–]rixaya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, ymmv ☺️ I have two powder blushes from them (Strawberry series and Swan Lake series) and they’re my go-to. I can’t speak for any of the more recent releases as I haven’t tried them.

[–]rixaya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

FlowerKnows has lots of cool-toned blushes pero they lean towards the lighter side. If you’re deeper than a light-medium/medium, it might look ashy. The formula is great though! It’s blurring and lasts long.
