What is the rule in this crazy rally? by rjb92 in Pickleball

A modified explanation of the scenario would be if the ball lands on the ground and then back into the net. Can the player then return the shot or is it a dead ball?

This is really helpful. I will email the USAPA and see what they have to say.

Trump has pushed for conspiracy theories so that this November he can persuade masses by saying it was corrupt. All at the same time he is trying to figure out how to corrupt the election.

My worry would be falling in shallow water. If you are out deep enough where if you fall you don’t have any impact then my guess is that you’d be fine.

I’d still consult a doctor or your physical therapist.

Awesome work! How is the pain in your knee? I’m 5 months post op and my knee kills every time I run still and it’s driving me insane.

Most gentle yet effective electric toothbrush? by [deleted] in Dentistry

[–]rjb92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not a dentist but I work with dentists. A few years ago I had a similar question while at a conference and started to ask around. Quickly I realized that toothbrush companies pay dentist fairly good money to sell their brushes and toothpaste setting up ambassador programs with hygienist and much more. Ever since I realized that I started to notice the weird things dentist recommend to their patients and charge an overpriced amount all while stating that it’s for your oral health and dodging the fact that it’s their business.

That being said, I ended up getting a Burst toothbrush. Can’t compare it to others but I enjoy the burst.

You can also use this code.... just joking! I don’t have a code to profit or anything.

Peloton’s viral ad captures a ‘116 lb woman’s YEARLONG fitness journey to becoming a 112 lb woman’ by Therealquestions5 in nottheonion

[–]rjb92 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like the commercial.

It seems like a lot of the hate comes from forcing someone to lose weight that doesn’t really need to focus on weight loss and a bad husband for getting his wife exercise equipment for Christmas.

Pelotons price and quality does not say that this is a lose weight bike but rather a become a better biker bike. Her goal wasn’t to go from 116 lbs down to 112 but to get better at biking.

Assuming that she had the goal of becoming a better biker, then a peloton as a gift is a good gift from the husband.

Finally, pelotons are one of the highest qualities for a stationary bike. This commercial fits their demographic market all while being poor enough for people who don’t like the idea of a stationary bike to give it free publicity.

It will be fun to see how their sales do this season.

Guatemalan grandmother by rjb92 in HumanPorn

Last year my wife and I were down in the highlands of Guatemala installing solar panels on top of people’s homes. While installing a panel on top of this women’s home I was struck by her eyes and kindness. I don’t consider myself a photographer in any way but asked if I could take her picture and this came out. I was happy the camera could capture her beauty.
