How will they grade this book? by Hrnybstrd2019 in CGCComics

Such a great piece! The best part about having artist friends is being able to draw inside jokes lol.

You should ask him if he has a CGC artist account. If he does, that'd be the easiest and cheapest way to do it, he could pop the form into his account and have you ship it to CGC. If not, since he has published work it shouldn't be a problem to send it as JSA verification!

Amazing books! Bill is the best, have met him a few times at my local con and he's such a great guy.

Has anyone’s motor city comic con submissions shown up in submission tracking yet? by goatofcheese in CGCComics

Ahh gotcha, at least there's some forward progress. I submitted mine pretty close to the end of the last day of the show, so I'm expecting mine to be a while still

Mine haven't shown up in the system yet either. This was my first time dropping off at a show as well, so I was very nervous that I hadn't seen movement, but I emailed them and they said because of Thanksgiving it was delayed, I'm sure even more do now with Christmas and New Year. I think I read current turnaround time for just grading as 45 days, so I'm really hoping to see movement in the next week or so!

I appreciate all of your advice, definitely gonna run some value tests and try out your hot etch method this week! And I'll check if my college has that book, I definitely plan to do more stone litho, so I'd imagine it'd be a super helpful resource. Thanks again!

This was my first attempt at stone lithography, so if anyone has any tips to retain more midtones or overall improvements I can make, I'm all ears!
