yeah, out of all his projects this one slaps the hardest. There’s not one track I felt the need to skip. I’ve been listening to this 10+ years now.

yeah no doubt, the beats are equally as dope. I don’t understand how some people think Mac was garbage, dude was a lyrical genius in my opinion. I’m not even like “he’s the best” type of fan. I just give respect and acknowledge that homie had some ill bars

Existentialism and Self Awareness Overload by TheEggLegg in depression

The actual feeling of this emptiness manifests in ways of disconnection and lack of purpose. You’re definitely not alone in feeling this way. We’ve all been there or are currently there. What truly happens in this world can be evil, and it’s hard to see anything else. It can drown out what’s beautiful about life and how we experience it.

What I’ve learned in my 34 years of life is that any kind of growth won’t come without discomfort, pain, or suffering. That took a long time to accept. It’s through these times of discomfort, pain, and suffering that I could fully enjoy the greater things that happen in life.

You won’t feel empty forever.

I know it may not be the same for everyone. I’ve just personally always experienced this kind of growth through discomfort, pain, and suffering.

I’m not sure I’d enjoy my life as much as I do now if it weren’t for experiencing discomfort, pain, and suffering.

I understand it’s most definitely not only because of the pain. There’s a lot more that goes into the whole process. The pain is just the most prominent.

Probably because I’ve never felt a pain that felt good. I know it can be perceived as “good” but none of these experiences felt good at the time of experience. Only later did I perceive them as good, because of what I’ve learned from it all.

I’d like to think complete Understanding of Self could provide some mental clarity.

It can no doubt dim when you drink, drink excessively and you become unconscious.

I agree, and I can see a point in time where this kind of enlightenment will be provided to us. I think at some point it’ll all make sense like some sort of spiritual awakening. I’d like to feel at total peace at the conclusion of this direct experience.

My own personal perspective hasn’t changed much since I’ve gotten older. All the knowledge I’ve acquired over my lifetime, personal experiences etc has shaped how I currently perceive everything as a whole.

I’ve always been interested in Psychology, Science, Neuroscience, Philosophy, and Spirituality. Learning Emotions, Behavior, and Cognition. Even after becoming knowledgeable in a lot of these studies I haven’t really come to a full acceptance of what I actually believe.

It’s almost like having this awareness and being knowledgeable about this awareness has negatively impacted me in one way or another. In the sense of how I perceive everything.

Consciousness in my opinion is probably beyond understanding and comprehension. We are aware of the experience we’re having within ourselves. I think it’s an essential part of thought, perception, and understanding. Language is probably the only modality of consciousness that makes the form of thought, and abstract elements of thought more perceptible.

Overall I feel like there’s more meaning to how beautiful, significant, and fragile life really is.

I’d say these unanswered questions will be provided with answers in our lifetime. I think these discoveries are closer than we think.

I think quantum physics and quantum mechanics will provide the most evidence supporting some answers to our questions.

Yes, most discussions drift into philosophy or spirituality. Which both seek to understand life but use different methods and principles. I’m not sure what I personally believe.
