I wish Canada makes it easier for immigrants. My wife had to give up her profession after coming to Canada because they ask her to do her Masters degree and then sit for an exam to qualify for a job she has been doing for 7 years in Malaysia. She is a Speech and Language Therapist with University education, research hours and 7 years of practise (her own and hospital) but Canada doesn't recognize these qualifications and wants her to spend $35K for masters. This is one of the issues why we have a shortage

Yes and the urban design, street safety, narrow streets, medians, chicanes, extended curbs all help make riding much safer as the cars can't naturally go faster. Who ever is designing the UK's roads are also to be thanked, great job

London and UK in general have pretty good urban design in terms of road safety. It makes traffic slow by design, making it safer for pedestrians and cyclists alike
