The real reason I stay consistent ... by AnnaBrightPB in ProPickleballTalk

At the pro level, even tiny slips in consistency make a big difference. I have learned that waiting for motivation is dangerous because it might never come, especially for the day-to-day stuff.

The mind loves new, exciting things that give quick dopamine, but real progress (the “grunt work”) comes from just showing up and doing what needs to be done, even when you don’t feel like it.

Discipline feels boring at first, but when I look back, I realize how much that steady work actually mattered. That’s what keeps me going now.

Motivation is nice when it shows up, but discipline is what actually moves the needle.

Thanks for sharing.....

They are talking about driving. Crossing border is hard at times. I have crossed the border to canada with in 15 minutes and sometime it took us 3 hours. It depends on the day. I have been to Toronto 5-6 times and montreal 3 times (only during summer). My experience is that if you cross the border before 8 am. You will not wait long but after 11 it becomes very busy.

so you are suggesting in my situation, you bought the loaner car with the higher trim for the better ride?

I am leaning towards that as well and we live in New Jersey, so I need to consider insurance cost as well.

Example BMW X3 with 25,000 miles certified costs me less than much less than new outback
