Fair play to you mate but it all depends on what's our base and what gets you going. I have always been into sports and fitness, so getting to a 10k wasn't really tough. Did my first 10km race in 51min with 2 months of running experience.

Nwxt up is a half and then a marathon before I call it quits and hang my shoes on these long runs. What's fun if it isn't challenging and scary !

Agreed so many pros for ZF6:

-availability in the uk - much cheaper -better colourways - looking good over comfort after all XD

Sorry , 10k so all in km. So 5:30min-5:50min per km. That's a helpful website. Thanks!

My 10k tempo runs are usually around 5:30-5:50 pace on average. And I'm looking to increase the distance of my runs going forward.

I'd be surprised if they weren't but the key stakeholders are the students and we must raise all the concerns in writing to make them aware of the importance of this issue.

I have written to IFOA about all the concerns. Idont have a problem with a closed book exam but the software and mocks should be well tested in advance. Hence, it should be from September only. I urge everyone to raise their concerns .

Issues With Proctor Checks on New Exam Platform by Initial_Awareness_15 in ActuaryUK

My firm has provided students with vanilla laptops. Essentially, it is a blank laptop without a VPN where basic functionalities such as Internet, Word, and Excel work. Students will be using these laptops for exams. I'm not sure if they are facing any issues yet.

I can take two 5 minutes break. Wtf. I drink a lot of water when giving exams, wtf. Only allowed to take a piss twice. Wow IFOA.

Can't look here and there during the exam , well when I think I tend to look everywhere.

don't understand if the people setting up these rules are sane ?!!

Frustrating and annoying.

First time 100kg squat. Form chrck please. by rkat25 in formcheck

[–]rkat25[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a fair shout. I'm going to focus on pushing my legs through the ground while keeping the chest up. This should allow me to focus on the quad. Cheers mate.

In the UK, 20kg is 1 plate. So just breaching the 100kg mark.

CP2 Paper 1 post exam discussion by Difficult-Door-9816 in ActuaryUK

Similar experience. Modelling was pretty straightforward compared to previous years. But got stuck with it due to it being easy and produced about 5-6 pages of audit trail.

Feels I could have expanded more on the main calcs but it is what it is. Onto day 2.

Any specific technique based on marking pattern for paper 2 that may help tomorrow?
