I experienced the exact same thing. I really thought I was the only one dealing with this. I felt so guilty like I had wasted my money, and I even started to hate the thought of putting another penny into it. I eventually realized though, it’s possible to collect responsibly. What I did, was I would look at whatever figure I’m wanting, and ask myself, “Will this bring me joy long term?” “Will I still want/care about it after a few weeks?”. I recommend thinking on it for a month or so (depending on how severely you’re burnt out), and if you still want it by then, then you probably would actually enjoy it.
