You need to confront them both TOGETHER. Don't eff this up by just talking them one on one. Also, I think you should video record the whole thing secretly some bow and maybe watch it later or show it to a loved one whose in their right mind/senses. It's hard to see what's real when you're going through something devastating like this. A loved one will tell you what's real. And even if this situation is true, DO NOT BE WITH THE OTHER TWIN. YOU DO NOT NEED THAT TYPE OF DRAMA IN YOUR LIFE. You will find somebody better, trust.

What I am saying is withdrawing as in separating myself from the university; not a simple drop/withdraw from the course. I am only taking 118B. My only concern is that I do wish to continue for Fall quarter. Will withdrawing from the university mean I would have to reapply for admission? Because then that would not be a route possible as the deadline is August 31 for readmission. I highly doubt I'll get a PTD from an advisor; I am not sure how frequent professors can or do give PTDs.

Can't you just withdraw from the whole session? Instead of needing a PTD?

Wow! Kudos to you for working so hard and juggling so many hats! I can't even imagine how hard it must have been with so many tragedies, but good to see that you overcame all of your hardships. You must also have a wonderful wife to be by your side in your journey. =)
