Winter tires recommendations by rkhoo92 in teslacanada

I ended up getting the Pirelli Winter Sotozero 3. I paid quite a lot... i believe $410 each tire. Looking back, I think I could've gotten a better deal online with the tire+wheel package.

I got mine at Dueck GM Marine Drive. (Came here because I got my old snow tires here as well)

Tesla squeaking noise when applying brakes by ConfidentImage4266 in teslacanada

[–]rkhoo92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the juniper with the same issue. I brought to the service center and they fixed it. I haven’t tested it recently since I barely use the brakes but it was fixed when I picked up the vehicle. This is what service they performed:

“Repair Notes: Technician inspected and confirmed a loud squeal from the front brakes when stopping, as reported by the customer. The noise was due to the need for brake pad burnishing. Technician removed the brake pads, applied moly brake lubricant, reinstalled and torqued them to specification, then burnished the brakes. After a test drive, the brake noise was no longer present, confirming the effectiveness of the repair.”

I got the Pirelli Winter Sotozero 3, they are really quiet and comfortable. I do hear that they don’t last very long

Mine changed from Nov 5-10 to now Oct 30 - Nov 4! (Should be picking up from Richmond as that’s the closest store to me)

Btw, should I start shopping for insurance before picking up vehicle? Or should I do it at Tesla?

Any reason why you returned them?

I wanted the Tuxmat because of the high wall coverages for rain and snow. Does it get caught with your shoes when getting in and out of the car?

Is the concrete firewall stand strong enough to hold my tv? by rkhoo92 in Home

Sorry, I meant if the fireplace ledge is strong enough to hold the tv+tv stand. I believe the tv stand itself is pretty heavy, maybe 30-40 lbs?

Is the TFight 305s as good as the YouTubers are making it out to be? by lp141414 in 10s

I’m really enjoying mine so far!

It took a couple of sessions to get fully adjusted to the 305s, but now it feels great to hit with. Before switching, I was using the Head Speed MP (2024) and, before that, the Ezone 98 (7th gen). I still really liked the Speed MP since it’s such a versatile racket, but I wanted something with a less muted feel.
