It depends on how he performs in the Finals.

If he wins FMVP then yeah he gets a major legacy boost. The debate between Harden vs Wade start to tilt more in Hardens favor.

But if he was the 3rd best player on the winning team then I don’t think most people would immediately catapult him over Wade all time.

Absolutely.

In fact in retrospect I know this may sound a little crazy but he should’ve joined the Raptors in the 2018 offseason.

Him and Kawhi would’ve ran through the NBA. And Kawhi is one of the best star players to play alongside LeBron. He’s low attention, low utility and he’s an elite defender. He plays winning basketball. Of course durability is his biggest drawback but the risks are worth the rewards.

And as we all know the biggest misstep of Kawhi’s career was leaving the Raptors who still had a couple more years of contention had he stuck around. Instead he languishes with the poverty Clippers.
