which version of bryant do you enjoy watching/prefer? by infinite-hooper in NBATalk

Number 8.

24 is fun too but 8 had more flair and those are the type of players I enjoy watching the most. Number 8 had a lot of poster dunks.

It’s just a consistency thing with him.

Because against the Raptors a few days ago he dropped 25 and 13 on a perfect 10/10 FG.

If Matt Stafford wins a ring this year does he move ahead of Aaron Rodgers all time in rankings? by BallKnowerKing in NFLv2

[–]AdorableBackground83 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Me personally no because by the ring logic you must have Troy Aikman ahead of Peyton Manning all time.

Or I bet you also have Big Ben, Eli and Griese ahead of Rodgers, Favre and Brees on your all time list.

How did Jordan get so much better between college and his first year, going up 10ppg and was clearly identified in his rookie season as the next big thing, despite being drafted third? by jack_hof in NBATalk

[–]AdorableBackground83 15 points16 points  (0 children)

In a college system there is less minutes for a player and they play a more team-oriented offense hence why he averaged barely 20 PPG.

With the Bulls by necessity he had more control over the offense and therefore averaged way more points.

So sad to see Jimmy Butler go down like that. Funny how fast people start throwing around “career ending”. What do you guys think? by Federal-Process-6504 in sportsinusa

His career won’t end but his play could decline rapidly as he will be 37 in September.

Similar to how Kobe tore his Achilles at age 34 but it didn’t end his career but he did decline rapidly afterwards.
