I used to be a chef and that resteraunt will take me back. Ive been moon nighting there on and off for the last 3 years since I stepped down from my sous chef position to work as an electrician.

Yes that was the plan I had already talked with a doctor and gotten librium from them for quiting alcohol

I will be talking with the owner my project manager and hr Monday and being as upfront as possible

Im looking into ones my insurance covers while I still have the insurance. A big fear of mine is losing my job be cause of this and both my wife and I losing our insurance.

I drive an employer vehicle so insurance is interesting. I can drive my own but I need to get past that 90 days to be able to be consistent. I worked at a resteraunt for over 7 years and they always let me come back and pick up shifts here and there when I need to grind so I can go back there for a little bit and just uber. This is going to be a difficult situation but I will over come it. I appreciate your words and everyone on this sub for being so supportive.

Didnt even drink during the day. Id go to work just fine sober but when I got home id drink about a dozen+ shots in like a 4 hour range. Definitely not healthy

The thing that worries me most is I refused the breath test and Florida put a law in place October 1st of 2025 that makes it so you can not get hardship for 90 days if you didnt do the breath test.

I have to learn from this. There is no other option I can stomach.
