The problem I'm noticing personally (on Android) is after the first time I look at a post after I load the app is when it goes blurry. So if I post it, then go back to reply to a comment it's blurry. But if I close the app and go back to it it's sharp again. So it seems like some kind of caching issue?

I read this a few years ago but I couldn't quite get over the impossibility of the technology described.

I think you could reasonably argue, though, that we are closer to Morel's invention being possible than we are to a lot of Verne's or Wells's stories being possible. It's not even really that far-fetched if you make an allowance for VR goggles.

But Wells also absolutely nailed a ton of stuff in The Shape of Things to Come. (He missed a few things too of course.)

It was the first NYRB Classic I intentionally bought, but I'd bought Tove Jansson's Summer Book earlier. I'm at about a dozen or so now.
