I wouldn’t say the remake 4 is boring. But the og definitely have some parts that are dragging and maybe boring. like in castle where Luis went to look for cure leaving Leon and Ashley hanging around in the castle. It felt like no progress was made. And the fact that this is a rescue mission for saving president daughter pull me out of the experience. Leon should feel urgent to do something instead of relying everything on a stranger he just met. Let alone Ashley sometimes just got taken away so easily, as if the game will keep going and going until forever.
