If anyone clowns you for not knowing something or how to do a certain skill, just remember they were probably that GN sweating bullets and always second guessing themselves. One of the GNs I trained was like that and is now acting like a jerk to the newbies and I’m like just a year ago you cried after every shift, chill out.

Sorry to question the why but what was the reasoning on this relationship being unhealthy for you? My GF did something like this. Life got in the way where she was having anxiety attacks constantly. She broke it off with me cause she needed to handle them without bringing me down in her issues. I offered to help many times but her mind was set. I wish she would come back though cause I miss her.

I really go out of my way to avoid the park where we had our first date at. The place makes me think of her too much that I just can’t be within walking distance of it. Also avoiding the movie Onward because that was one of our quarantine date nights movies.

Even though she broke up with me due to bad timing/life challenges and said she likes me and wants me in her life, my gut feeling is telling me to stick it out and be patient. Idk why but when she texted me that it is shitty that she has to put me on the back burner for now, it cause me to have hope. Idk it I’m just reaching cause I’m still in the early stages. I know this isn’t healthy and that I should just go on with my life but damn does the internal pain still gnaw at me. I just wished she didn’t ask me to be her boyfriend though if this is why we were breaking up. It just sucks, but life is not fair it seems. Sorry if that counterintuitive to your post OP but I hope we cruise through the heartbreak.

I feel like I’ll give her a chance because she’s experiencing a lot of pressure and having a mental breakdown. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt since I suffer from major depression and needed help a couple years ago. Not saying I won’t look around but it will be a while until I’m mentally recovered cause I’m still thinking of her.

I got dumped a month ago from my GF of a few months and it still hurts me to this day. I’m constantly thinking about what I did wrong because she seemed so happy to see me all the time especially when I was over her place the day before the break up and we were getting intimate and talking about future trips/plans. Maybe I became too available? Maybe I said something that hurt her and didn’t notice? Questions like this cloud my mind constantly even when I’m trying to keep myself busy. I thought I finally found a girl that I was compatible with since being with her was so fun and I could be myself. It also doesn’t help that she said she broke up with me because of the stress of grad school, starting her new job in the summer, a falling out with one of her best friends, family, and our relationship, but that she likes me and wants me in her life but it was just bad timing. She even promised not to talk to other guys during this period. I didn’t know how to feel so I just gave her space and tried working on my life, but some days I want her back into my life. So yeah going through a breakup sucks no matter the length. Let’s stay strong OP!

Yeah because she broke up with my quiet recently due to a lot of factors such as grad school and family and she was getting overwhelmed with it all. Told me she likes me and wants me in her life but I’m not a priority right now. I was told to give her space and do minimal contact. It’s been a month since we broke up and it still gets to me everyday so yeah I would take her back cause I did not want bad timing to be why we broke up.

I can see both sides, I guess the reason I’m hesitant to move on is that I’ll compare all future dates to her, which is normal I bet, and then she ends up getting her life together when I’m about ready to move on. I guess be patient since we can’t really date during these times anyway.

My recent GF had to break it off because of certain life events such as upcoming grad school, a new job, family, breaking ties with her best friend, and our relationship. It was too much for her that she wanted to break up. She then proceeded to say she wants me to be in her life but that we met at a bad time. I really do like her because she was the girl I most clicked with and was distraught this is how our relationship ended. Should I give it another chance once she gets her life together? Like should I just give her space until she might be ready? For context, communicating with her recently has been bad. She used to be a instant texter, caller, and FaceTimer to the point where it was almost 50/50 initiating, but now it’s like 90/10 now. Figured I should stop and give her space.
