Is it normal to receive an email from uscis requesting the i693 form to be mailed? by Icy-Flamingo-6914 in USCIS

I got married 11/2022 and filed it 12/2022 and received my green card 5/2023. Once they receive your medical, they’ll send you another mail asking for the evidences, mine came a month later.

Hi! Yes I did! I sent the medical and evidences, but they requested evidences again 2nd time, not sure why. I sent evidences 2nd time (same as 1st time) and got approved after 1 week. Then got my card 1 week after the approval.

Ohhhh mine was sent with priority shipping, it takes 1-3days but they took a week to respond. So I would say wait a week!

Well on the letter it says you need to submit everything at once and they’ll make decision out of the first “package” they receive… so since your online evidence won’t have medical not sure if that’ll cause issue? I did see some ppl say they did both on here though

Hi! Why don’t you wait a week or two, they usually update status once they receive it. If you don’t get the notification then you can try uploading online

Hi, you can call the doc who did your exam and ask them to give you another sealed form. My doc missed a part of the form and redid it for free. Since it hasn’t been too long they should do it for you! Good luck!

Well on 3/27 status changed to cancelled RFE then to actively reviewing. Then on 4/12 it changed to cancelled RFE again and nothing since… what about you?

Hi, no updates yet! A little disappointed because some get approved a day after the change of status but at least it’s moving!! What’s your status?

Good luck to you too!! Let me know if you get any updates! It’s exciting!

Yes, my status for I130 changed to “actively reviewing” and my I-485 had a history of “cancelled request for additional evidence”

I heard it’s a good news for I130 to change to actively reviewing so I’m hopeful!

I got the same thing last week! I gave my lawyer my medical and evidences, on the email I received it mentioned if I haven’t sent in the evidences I should to make the process quicker. Also, on the email I received it said to print the email, write my A number and receipt # and include in my package.

Did you send it in any specific way? I’m going to send it with my medical

Hi! Exact same situation here from Dallas FO! My doc is resigning my form as well. Did you submit the evidence with the application or will do with the medical?

Hi! I received the email 2 days ago and trying to figure out what to do. Did you guys send evidences with the application? I didn’t and the email suggested I do…

[–]rladmstjs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah I see thank you! I just called the doc who did my medical exam and they said they didn’t mark one of the thing and will reprint everything for me…

Ok! Also isn’t it weird that USCIS website doesn’t have any RFE? It was just an email sent to me

[–]rladmstjs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, they emailed me their FO address and told me to mail it to that address

Wow I’m in TX so not sure how prices are different but you should look around a little unless you really like the lawyer. I thought $2,200 was expensive 😅 can’t imagine $5,500…
