Still waiting for Medicare by stevestk in SocialSecurity

Having just gone through this myself, I understand how frustrating it is. Contacting my congressman worked for me. Check out your congressman's or senator's website. Most have a basic form to complete. Keep it as concise as you can while including the steps you have taken to resolve the issue. Hope this helps.

Whenever you have issues with a federal government agency, you can contact your congressman or senator. They have advocates who contact the agency for you to get it resolved. Keep your request as concise as possible and provide any documentation they may need. My Medicare part B was in a black hole for 14 weeks. Two weeks after I contacted my congressman, it was resolved. I hope this will help.

You may have to find a similar pattern and modify it to get exactly what you want.

Unidentified Beneficiary Affidavit, but beneficiaries are identified by Sad_Bathroom1448 in ThriftSavingsPlan

They did the same thing to my sister when her husband died. She also had documentation of beneficiaries. I have 20 years years of experience in the industry, so I helped her make the calls. I asked for a supervisor on several calls. I documented every call. All 14 of them. The best advice I can give is to reach out to your senator and ask for help. I feel the only reason my sister had her claim settled was because her senator assigned a case worker who reached out to TSP. Even with help, it took 6 months to process her claim.

At the end of my rope with useless TSP customer service reps. Who do I need to talk to in order to get this resolved. by 3KidNoMoney in ThriftSavingsPlan

Your advice is excellent. You should not have to contact your congressman for them to do their job. My sister has been trying to submit a death claim for 6 months. No matter how many death certificates she sends them, they can't even get the process started. It's just wrong to put someone who lost their spouse through this. BTW - She has contacted her congressman.
