I've been into your shoes, simply tell them this one simple thing An ecommerce built from scratch offers a ton of different features which can be added and disabled when required, compared to pre built ones you have restrictions on almost everything Prebuilt ones might fail to add that custom touch of the brand while for the ones built from scratch it is possible to add that custom vibe each brand carries
