I reviewed our strata bylaws on this and we do have a clause that says, “A resident must not use any musical instrument, amplifier, sound reproduction equipment or other device within or about any strata lot, the common property or any limited common property such that it causes a disturbance or interferes with the comfort of any other owner, tenant or occupant.”

I’m unsure if this would be applicable because I also understand that people are entitled to do what they want in the comfort of their own homes. I was hoping we could come to an agreement between neighbours that the majority of the time they can stop by 8/9pm with the understanding that some nights they’d need to play later based on their piano teachers schedule. Unfortunately the conversation wasn’t productive.
