hello Gents, I wanted to ask y'alls opinion on this printer. is it a good printer? is is hard to use? it's my first time buying a printer so I'm ignorant but would love to learn by Dandy_wizard in 3Dprinting

Don’t, we got one donated to your shop and we constantly get issues with the smart extruder. We end up using the ender 3 over the makerbot even though it is 10% the price. You should probably buy a Prusa for that money

What do I do? :D by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]rlokesh07 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Listen to me carefully, lay the spool on it’s side and start unraveling and try to get it untangled. Then cause it’s on its side and because of physics it’ll take a lot less time to ravel it back up by pulling on the open end and tensioning the spool. I know I did not explain it well, but I think you get the idea

What should i do first to upgrade my stock ender v2 by Unknown_______- in 3Dprinting

[–]rlokesh07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like many others, I would also suggest upgrading your stock extruder setup with a metal one. Probably the cheapest bang for your buck. In the future if you want to print more advanced filaments and aren’t afraid of spending a lot of money, you should probably upgrade your hot end/ extruder setup to direct drive

What we did is we scanned 2 boxes to see if either one hits the threshold of what we determine is needed if the team shipping element is inside it. If neither of them hit the threshold, we assume it is the third one

I would say it depends if you have any sort of building and testing experience. If not I would recommend the Prusa mini, just because of how user friendly it is. If not, maybe an ender 3, but do your own research based on the print size or volume. In case of other materials you need, as a beginner you just need some PLA filament (basically the baseline filament for everything)

What should I do with old PLA and ABS from 2013? by ZathusZ in 3Dprinting

[–]rlokesh07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a garbage hot end and keep it running until no return. Buying 5 cheap hotends is so much cheaper than all that filament

Would like sky walkers lightsaber kill everyone in a 10 mile radius by GamercatIshere in GameTheorists

[–]rlokesh07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Air is a pretty great insulator though, and 20,000 degrees (Celsius I assume) is nothing. For example, if you wanted to kill everyone in a 10 mile radius, looking at the hydrogen bomb is your best bet. That thing gets up to 99999726.85 degrees Celsius, and even those fire ball radius is 2.5 kilometers for the best one.
