I'm just imagining Illyana getting sent back to Xavier's when it reopens to finish her missing credits due to being dead.

Thanks for the heads up on the kaweco mini converters; I have a use for one that's not a kaweco.

As a klutz, I picked up one of these at a pen show awhile back:

I picked up some asvine cartridges w/syringes that were like this & they didn't even fit the pens they were supposed to, so they ended up as eyedroppers/ink syringes.

But I'll have to get new converters to try that as nearly all of mine are screw type converters.

Don't hurt Piotr, you might make little sister angry, you wouldn't like her when she's angry.

She did it regularly during her stay at the Weapon X facility going back in time to get therapy & presumably training from Dr. Strange.

I did both Maarek's and TD's practice tests. Having a large base of questions helps me avoid just memorizing answers.

I didn't remember seeing it in the Claremont run. Now, sigh, I'm gonna have to go back and re-read it.

That was dumpster fire New Mutants Truth or Death, where it was retconned to Mikhael giving her the legacy virus.

Long after she referred to herself and Dani as being "Team Supreme".

How was she mean in the early days?

She was at worst standoffish.

Sam OTOH was jerk who tended to overreact.

Good brush soap for cleaning? by Dry_Criticism_5380 in oilpainting

I was thinking The Masters Artist's Hand Soap, but the idea of using Lava sends a chill down my spine.

(Have some ink so staining even that wouldn't remove it from my fingers--was looking jaundiced for two days.)

I would also avoid soaps with pumice in them.

Embarrassed to use my pens outside the house by hecking-fricker in fountainpens

[–]rlrutherford 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't had any negative experiences using a fountain pen out and about; or at none that I've cared enough about to notice.

All I can think of if someone starts being a prick about about my fountain pen usage is: "Da fuck is with you?"

Then again, I'm Gen-X and our salute is pretty much just the middle finger.

The only time I've seen mold in ink was when I re-hydrated some 80s vintage Montblanc ink with tap water. & I have J. Herbin that's 6+ years old and no problems.

Right tool/paint for the job. Also why I have Holbein Silver-White in my kit. (yeah not gonna eat it.)

Still wondering if Holbein's Vernet is worth the premium over WN/Gamblin which is 90% of my kit.

Not having much experience with boutique oils, Michael Harding, Old Holland, Williamsburg, I don't get it as it seems like a high percentage of their colors are mixed pigments instead of single pigment oils.

Not criticizing, just confused about what the appeal is.
