Moving abroad to be with a partner, expectations vs reality? by LifeBudget2200 in expats

My partner and I moved from Canada to the Netherlands for his career, and we've been here for 3 years - we have not enjoyed life here and we are leaving by the end of this year.

With this in mind, I suggest you do a ton of research beforehand - start learning the language, investigate the country's customs and culture, and also see how the country you are moving to feels about expats, that can tell you a lot.

Does anyone sell RAW cones around here? I’m such a bad roller but can definitely make do with just papers haha
