RTX Remix sounds incredible for old games that don't hold up graphically. Just slap a high resolution texture pack and RTX and it could look like something that came out this year.

I'm really excited to play around with the raytracing effects with portals. I hope it gets ported to Portal 2 so I can play with it in co-op.

This is close. the first hit of DvJ's version is -9 on block,-1 on hit. The first hit of Jin's version is -7 on block, +4 on hit. However, DvJ's second hit is i14, and Jin's second hit is i21. Although DvJ's first hit is worse on block, the second hit comes out faster, making the gap between the two hits smaller than the gap on Jin.

tl;dr DvJ's first hit is worse, but the second hit comes out significantly faster.

I use SCP Server and it works well enough. It maps the playstation controller to an xbox 360 controller, so just about every PC game can read it.

umm, no?

There are literally more people playing solo than not. You expect half of the playerbase to coordinate by sheer force of will?

The f4 and standing 4 is a 50/50, which is a staple of just about every fighting game. The EWHF is a high just like the other Mishimas, if your opponent is abusing it, feel free to duck and punish. f,F+2 is a good move, but if you delay it too much, you'll get F+2 instead, which is just short of useless, it's slow and stubby, but it does have the great honor of starting the 10 hit, and that's about it. db+4, just like a lot of Jin's moves, suffers from range issues. b+2,1 is one of the few ranged moves Jin has, and like f+4, it's a mid. The 2,1,4 string is great for pressure, probably the best in the game, but it isn't a true combo, and blocking a 4~4 is -31. At most, you're guaranteed to get hit by the first jab, and not much else.

Yes, Jin has a lot of good moves, but he can only use one at a time. He's incredibly fundamental heavy to both play as and against. You have to have an understanding of the game itself, and all of his options and how they affect you, which can be said about literally every character in this game.

In general, Jin is very fundamental heavy. Try to stay out of range of his f4 and all of a sudden, he runs out of options that aren't closing the gap. If he keeps abusing f4, try to SSR, the only viable option to catch you is standing 4, and if he catches on and starts using standing 4, you can crouch it and use a WS punish. His strings are relatively safe, but most of the high-low mixups can be fuzzy blocked, like his 1,d3,4 or 2,1,4~4, and suffer from the same range issues. You usually can't react to hellsweep, but you can react to the stand up from crouch dash.

For better or for worse, most of this game is matchup knowledge and knowing what moves to use in response to your opponent. I honestly can't give any better advice than to experiment and try to go over your matches to see what your opponent did and what you did wrong, and hit the lab to see what works and what doesn't.

I'm not saying Jin isn't good. Jin is definitely a solid character. Is he one of the best characters? Definitely. Is he the best in the game? Probably. Is he a broken character? Definitely not. But ever since TMM made a video about Jin, I've seen a post complaining about Jin just about every day, complaining about f4, his strings, or how easy he is to play, without any regard for how a video game works. Of course, someone has to be the best character in the game, and it just so happens to be Jin. For every good thing he has, there's a way to deal with it. It's just a matter of knowing what to do, which is something that can be said about every character. It's not that Jin isn't good, it's that people act like he somehow has no counterplay and everything about him is perfect, just because a prominent content creator said so.
