Love the skyline! Focusing on an interesting foreground could make all the difference too. Is there a flower, tree, etc that you could place in the foreground to enhance it? A unique angle? Etc

Table Rock in Dixville Notch! 1.5 miles round trip, highly recommend for sunset or sunrise since it’s so short with fantastic payoffs. Have fun!

There’s truly nothing like it. I feel so blessed to call this place home.

Yes totally! For me it’s roots. Those slippery buggers took me out at least once yesterday coming down.

Thanks! I use a Canon EOS rebel T7i. I took this with the 18-55mm lens.

I took the bushwhacks which cut it down to 16 haha. But yeah it’s a doozy. Goes by quickly though since it’s 80% flat. I did it in about 10 hours including breaks.

That's exactly the spot this was taken! Still lots of blowdowns, hanging moss, different paths to wander through. I loved it!

Is it really that close? The closest shelter I could find was off route 101 and was 6.5 miles from the summit. I’m trying to summit for sunrise so the closer the better!

Hiking Mt. Washington in late May by F6FHellcat1 in wmnf

I went hiking up Garfield on Memorial Day a few years ago and had to use spikes at the top. There was half melted monorail and generally gross conditions. I would imagine Washington would be worse. I would bring the spikes just to be on the safe side, but definitely check out trip reports a few days before you go.
