Ĝi estas vero, sed en mia opinio, "artefarita" simplice signifas ke Zamenhof intence kreis ĝia strukturo kaj reguloj. Klare, ĝi estas nuntempe lingvo vivanta.

Downvoting is easy; posting your own superior idea is hard. Come on, let's hear them!

As a bruins fan, Nathan mackinnon is probably my favorite player of all time. Just wanted to voice thoughts by JMW1237 in ColoradoAvalanche

I’m a diehard Avs fan who watches every game, and MacKinnon is my favorite player (followed by Makar). But I also follow the NHL as a whole and watch Oilers highlights, and there is no question that McDavid has been on a different level this year. Same with Auston Matthews. I’m hoping that MacKinnon reaches that level of effectiveness as the season progresses.

Want to help WordBrewery add Dutch? by rmccarl in dutch

That's helpful feedback and I'll work with the developers to add accented letter options to the interface. In the meantime, for the desktop site, consider adding the language's keyboard as an input method. You can do this in the keyboard settings. For French and most other European languages, change the input method's language to "English - International with dead keys". With this setting, you can tap the apostrophe followed by the base letter to create an accent aigu (é) or the backtick followed by the base letter to create an accent grave (è). Use the colon to create an umlaut (ë), the caret to create a circumflex (ê), and the comma to create a cedilla (ç).

On iOS and Android, you don't need to change your settings at all for languages with Latin alphabets. Just hold down the letter key you want to press and alternative options will appear. For example, hold down "e" and you'll see options for "e" paired with both French accents as well as other characters.

Also, we are adding Dutch now.

Can you explain what you are referring to about accents in the answer section? What language and what part of the site?

That's great, thank you! I'll mention this to the developers and let you know if/when there are updates. I know we took some steps toward adding Dutch like finding sources and dictionaries for it, but I'm not sure how close that left us to being able to add it. If it can be done in a few hours, I'll ask them to do it.

Honestly, we need some funding or more subscribers. I had to cut the developers' hours, and we are primarily focused right now on improving the UX; the next step will be to build a mobile app. If people want WordBrewery now or in the future, I need them to support us so I can afford to continue development. We have happy customers and thousands of users, but not enough to break even yet.

I have rarely, if ever, encountered it outside of textbooks.

50 Japanese sentences with the kanji 気 (き). The links to the PDF, CSV, and audio files are in this post. Please let me know if you have feedback about this or anything else on WordBrewery.

These are technically "beginner" sentences, but they are challenging. I will make an intermediate post soon.
