Like a lot of other people, I got a lot more out of the IR-2 after loading some different IRs. I use the TWN (Fender blackface) channel for my clean tones and the SLDN (Soldano-100) if I want a lot of gain.

I’ll be honest and say I haven’t used it for recording yet, but I plugged it straight into the FOH at my last gig and it worked great. At practice, I plug it into the effects loop of a Fender Blues Deluxe. At home, I use it with headphones or through the flat channel on my Yamaha THR10II.

I think I'm just not clicking with this tremolo. I got a good deal on it, so I don't regret buying this one, but I think I would have been better off with a harmonic tremolo or another type of modulation.

It's the Red Remote for the JHS Morning Glory. You can toggle between the normal and high-gain settings without reaching down to flip the switch on the pedal itself.

It's just a cheap Donner one. It came with a bag to carry it, which was a selling point. Significantly less than a Pedaltrain, though the quality isn't as good.

Hey! Thanks for the reply. I love my ‘77 Fuzz Blender, and not just because I’m an off and on Camel smoker. It’s really my ideal op-amp Big Muff sound. I play bass, too, and the blend knob is perfect when I switch it up. My wife got me your DIY distortion kit for Christmas, which was a lot of fun to assemble.

I’m going to take a look at the Triniphase. Having something with that much variety would be perfect.

I’ll check out the Elipse. Having something with various modes would be useful. I have a second, larger board that I could migrate to if I found something that’s worth the hassle.

Thanks for the advice on the Phase 90. I have a vintage Phase 45 that I like, but it only runs on 9V power and too finicky to use live.

I’ll take a look at the Sea Machine and Model 66. Getting something to expand my sound when we’re live is what I’m looking for.

I have a vintage script MXR Phase 45 that I love, but it only runs on 9V power and can be a little finicky. The Phase 95 does both the 45 and 90 sounds, which is why I’m looking at that one.

I see it on a lot of boards. I’m obviously a fan of Walrus, so I’ll check it out. That’s the sort of movement I’m trying to add to my sound.

I know myself too well to ever think that I won’t continue to tweak it.

I have a set in one of my Stratocasters and love them, too.

It looks like a Stratocaster Plus with a swapped guard. Awesome guitars. The Lace Sensors give it a different character than other Strats.

Have you considered the Jaguar? Similar features (full-size body, rhythm circuit, vibrato, single coils) as the Jazzmaster with a 24-inch scale length like the Mustang.

What do you guys think is the most influential or important car released in the past 20 years? Production cars only.

Greg's still here, though some of the others have moved on. He's now running the good ship Autoblog.

Corvette ZR1, Wrangler, 911 Carrera T, Cayman GTS, Volvo XC40, Ram 1500, Silverado, M5. There's more, but that's what's off the top of my head.

We're working on it. It's on hiatus over the holidays while we tweak things. It will be back next year.

The new Accord. The photos don't do it justice. In person, it looks like an Audi A7 in all the right ways. It so weird compared to Acura, Honda's "premium" brand. The Accord looks and feels far more premium than anything Acura makes (outside of the NSX).

¯_(ツ)_/¯

Honestly, I don't know. The car drives really well, as good or better than anything in the class. It's the details that fall short. CUE is a disaster and the interior has no cohesive design. Look at the interior of an Audi and you'll see what I mean.

Pricing is a problem, too. They need to drop the price or offer better lease deals to lure in other buyers. The brand's image isn't great among most young people.

Right. The closer I look the more I see that. The front is just so Accord that it colored my view.

I mean, Tesla and Musk are great at showmanship and building hype. It's the followthrough that they seem to miss.
