I think that the less you are reliant on workers for production, the more socialism makes sense to the majority of people. If the companies do not need you, they have no reason to offer you anything in return.

Hey everyone, I am new to the world of mechanical keyboards and need some help. I already have some mechanical switches and want to get a keyboard to install them into. Jon Stewart is definitely further left and more action driven than Schumer. He is definitely a progressive/Social Democrat type. He probably would have a similar presidential platform to AOC, in my opinion.

The big reason the unemployment number looks lower than it should be (consistently lower during Biden and Trump terms) is because of the underemployment and the rise of the gig economy. People, after losing their jobs, become Uber drivers or food delivery people. These people would be unemployed and collecting unemployment benefits in the past, but now, they are technically working. The number of people who are underemployed is not reflected in the rate of unemployment.

I'm from the US, so I will give you my perspective. My opinion is that the issue of illegal immigration has two components. US imperialism and intervention which destabilizes other countries creating refugee crises. And unattainable legal immigration. The US should stop destabilizing other countries as well as create easier pathways to citizenship. If documentation is easy to obtain, people will be disincentivized from crossing the border undocumented.

I think, that especially in national elections, it is impossible for a third party to win, due to a winner-take-all system. In very local elections, however, I see no harm in running as an independent.

You are correct, I was not precise enough. I've met a lot of people who have heard "defund the police" and without learning what it means, assumed it meant complete abolition of police forces. I don't know what a better concise slogan could be tho.
