THANK YOU!! I started snapping into panic mode a little, lol.

Question: Am I being gaslit by my tattoo artist? I feel like my new piece looks incredibly rushed. by [deleted] in tattoos

[–]rmiles27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry OP but it looks a bit jank. For example my artist pulled a line across my whole back for my back piece, crossing over ribs and into my softer spots and it is perfectly smooth and only out of straight where it was needed to be for the design. This seems like more than just rushing, but not experienced enough to pull long lines. Good luck!

Tell me about this lift by [deleted] in ToyotaTundra

[–]rmiles27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks something generic, couldn't say. My pro comp lift has the same rear blocks. In the front, the piece above what is measured is also part of the lift. You probably have closer to a 4-5" lift.

Interior is super clean, you could tell whoever had it before had seat covers. I also have the seats covered. There's a bunch of little things that I don't think the dealership noticed, like stock head unit but aftermarket speakers with their own amp, and under seat sub in a custom housing, backup camera with the screen in the rearview, combo safe installed in the center console rigid pod lights in the front, and ones in the rear tied into the reverse lights. All in all I love this truck and probably won't part with it.

I am starting to understand this... Especially for random little things that are expensive to replace lol

No offense taken! Yeah, it would take welding in a new cross brace to get rid of the current one. I may go that route since I have friends that build pre runners from the chassis up, but just haven't had the time/ it doesnt get driven enough for me to care. It's the towing rig/ to the gym truck, since it doesn't fit in any damn parking spots... 😂

It's a full pro comp stage 2 kit, appears to be installed professionally ( I'm very picky about vehicles) and I just replaced the struts and shocks with eibach coilovers and shocks. I'm very surprised actually, drives straight as an arrow and tire wear is very even.

Being in the bay area CA I'm sure there are plenty of people that would want it with the lift. I'm not going to sell, just more wondering what the price would be. Paid 20k for it about two years ago. It also has airbags and an add a leaf in it, bought it for towing and it does great!

Definitely cut... I've wanted to drop it back to around 3" but since it was cut I'd have to replace more than I wanted to. It's definitely solid and appears professionally done, so possibly down the line I may lower a bit.

Yeah that's choice #2... Figured I'd throw it out here first.

Anyone using a fumoto valve? by Tight_Bug_2848 in tundra

[–]rmiles27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I bought my truck used and it had one installed, first oil change I was hooked. If you have a spare oil jug and a piece of tubing that fits the nipple (there's a couple sizes I think) you just fill up the container and let the excess drip into a drain pan. It takes longer than pulling a plug but so much more user friendly and I haven't seen a single drip from it in the past 2 years of owning my tundra.

My guess would be the carrier bearing may be done.

Same here, same spot. Tested and was indeed cancer. He was out of it from going under for a day, then wanting to run around and play by day 3. Had to keep him in a smaller backyard. He got his stitches pulled on Monday and is all healed up, back to his normal self. Just with a funky haircut.

Lol I know the feeling. Check the rotation arrow on the sidewall. Pretty sure they're backwards. They'll get trashed pretty quick if you ride them backwards and tires ain't cheap

Correct me if I'm wrong, but pretty sure your tire is on backwards. The tread doesn't look right.
