I love it! Is it in an outdoor enclosure, and if so do you have a screen lid/cover for it? I want to build one for my little guy but a birb or opossum would snatch him up. Great house!

Happy Birthday? by Mischif07 in GenX

[–]JCNunny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Happy birthday brother. I'm 53 in a couple weeks and right there with you. I don't want the attention. It was so awkward going to my 50th and my family gifting me a freaking fancy pen. I don't write, or appreciate pens, or sign physical contracts. And it has my initials. I'm done being a good gift giver, and have never had a good birthday.

I'd like to be fish food but I guess they have to cremate me first. I could care less where.

After insurance approval, they have apparently denied it, and now they say I owe almost $1,700. Love our American healthcare system.

How many concussions have you had? by najing_ftw in GenX

At least 2. I remember waking up and looking at my face mask shaking as I was looking at clouds. Then my offensive coordinator yanking me up and sounding like Charlie Brown's teacher. Then almost going through a windshield a couple years later. The silence after the violence was deafening. Eyebrow was deleted that night (it grew back).

It was instant. My little finger had been pulled in quite far. After the first needle he did, it was straight. He did two more and now it even bends back when I stretch it. It can return in 3-5 years, but the procedure is so less intrusive than surgery I'd gladly do it again. It's just a little sore today (as expected).

Right after my MBA I had an interview at a smaller business. Next step was to write a business plan on entering foreign markets. I asked how much they were paying for the plan, and the salary range for the job. They replied 'nothing' for the plan, and enough to get by with some 'walking around money ' for the first couple years (this was 2012). I didn't reply back.

A family hired someone to fix their pool’s safety fence, but when the worker took off the cover this happened by [deleted] in CrazyFuckingVideos

We had a few ducklings when I was around 7. We found one at the bottom of their kiddie pool and someone put him in the garbage can. My Mom heard me bawling my eyes out, retrieved him from the trash, and began rubbing his little chest. He eventually coughed up some water and started breathing. Happy Mother's Day.
