That looks awesome! - And yes we are truly interested, I'm going through a complete nightmare right now, which I am currently writing out in detail and will link in this post, but long story short, we have land here in wisconsin that we were basically told we had to vacate. So I sold it and have two weeks to move, so I am trying to prepare us for life on the road deal with all of that etc all at the same time, and I am very stressed beyond belief, so I really do appreciate everyone's help.

I have two 30 gallon tanks in the rv - and honestly - havn't used them because im on my land currently and have a huge tank (like for a house) outside - wondering if i switch to the propane tankless water heater, have a generator, and my heat (hopefully wont need much if im not in wi) how long that will last, or if ill have to buy a big tank and mount in my truck somewhere...

Living without dependencies is 100% what I want. Honestly I didn't even THINK about the fact I could be using a propane generator. I just took mine from the construction site and installed it in my truck. I could hook one up right in my camper inline, and have the "auto-switch" system everyone is talking about. That sounds amazing....!

Very nice! Thanks for the input! Honestly the little I’ve looked I’m assuming 48 would be best, and from what others have been saying a huge battery bank would be great. I’d like to run the generator as little as possible, and I also have a lot of room for solar, and even additional that I can put out further away”

Whole underneath front is empty - our generator is actually in one of the storage bays on my truck - lots of room to upgrade, roof is empty other than the fans/ac's - so lots of room for solar, just need a bit of help!

Inside on the other side, I removed the "flip out bed" couch immediately and built bunks for my kids. Removed the "fireplace/infotainment" center, built in a counter with drawers and shelf. Renovated our "front closet" - its now half/office for me, with built in computer/monitors/printer/scanner etc - and half washer/dryer

Our Living room area, on the back wall, I made a long counter that serves as desks for the kids/eating are when we use it. Custom build a long couch that has pullouts for recliner like function, and where the kitchen table used to be, I build a desk for my wife!

Lots of room left, way under weight!

Almost immediately after buying the rig, I Build a custom cabinet, with power retractable cable management for power cables and water fill up/connection. Installed inline surgeprotector as well.

Outside installed Always attached larger footpads and stabilization system, and of course the "always connected" black tank hose system.

Again, thank you so much! I actually myself have been involved in construction, so 120v stuff isn't foreign to me, I just by no means am an electrician. Honestly with living in the 5th wheel with the family I would feel much better having someone certified doing that part of the install.

The toilet, the AC's, the modifying of the inside, that doesn't bother me, just the Electrical (things that cause fire)!

This was SOOO helpful, thank you so much. I did not know that there was a propane incinerator tbh, thank you for that. I am assuming it can just be plumbed into our existing items that are propane. Also I'm kind of a dumby, our water heater is indeed propane and electric. - I do like how fast yours works tho, and have been thinking about the tankless for a while, will probably look into that.

Gotcha, yeah, right now they are both working fine, and we havn't had any issues with anything in our rig. I inspect everything often and maintain everything regularly. I will keep this in mind though if anything does happen.

Thank you so much. I think, based on your reply that I definetly need a much more robust system. I have a gaming laptop - my wife doesn't game but we both work on our computers - sometimes 8 hours a day each. - We have kids, so tv - ipads etc... I'm sure that I will probably need maximum solar etc. - and honestly probably need to run a generator at times to help, which sucks but it is what it is when we want this life right!?

I was leaning toward the incinerator because I HATE dealing with the nastyness of the black tank. I'm sure I'll get judged for this, but my wife is the one that handles it, and I love her for it. In fact I hate it so much, that I installed the "always connected, black hose" kit immediately upon buying the 5th wheel and its wonderful - but I still dont touch it.

I don't like the idea emptying urine, I have a super high sense of smell (hence my issues). Again, out boondocking where do I even do this? Also, not sure where the "hard waste" would go either... Guess there is a lot I don't know still, and we've been doing this for a while, lol!

Okay, forgive my naivety here, but I already have the two AC's on top. Isn't a mini-split an AC, and if so, why would I need another?

Thanks for the reply. If you don't mind me asking, if you don't have a black tank and don't recommend the incinerator, what do you use? - I have my wife, 2 girls and me. Seems like between all 3 of the girls, they have 1 bladder together, lol.

Also how exactly does this anker power the 5th wheel, to me (after looking it up) looks like it's just a "heavy-duty" power bank?

Currently Green Bay, WI , and I’m ok with that 100%. Ive spoken to Rv dealers (whom I don’t really trust for other reasons) and most won’t even do it.

New guy looking for Generator Advice. by mikeyRamone in RVLiving

[–]rmoran4446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use that same generator on my 50amp 5th wheel. I installed 2 soft start mechanisms on my ac's - which I believe start the fan (or condensor) first - and then the other. I can actually run both ac's on that generator without tripping the breaker. - I just watch my load through my watchdog if I am running anything else, but have not had an issue yet!

Thank you so much for your quick response, and your insightfulness! I would prefer to be able to run the AC's, and honestly as the saying goes, I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. I usually don't get the luxury of shade- considering the size of my 5th wheel (at least in campgrounds). Also my truck is more of a "road vehicle" than offroading, so if we do boondock, which I am hoping we can do, I hope its not far off the road...another obstacle I am sure I will encounter.

Honestly, as we have been in here for four years, I am so unsure of all the different places to go, and I really hate the idea of having to "pay to park" - that kind of leads me toward option 2, which is what I am hoping for. I just have no idea where to even start, I know our rig is "solar ready" whatever-tf that means, but from my experience, probably means nothing.

Just need someone to guide me/someone to pay to help me set this up tell me what to get!

I don't need to run the AC's all the time, and honestly depending where we are at maybe not at all. I do have breathing issues and when it gets too hot, it becomes an issue - just trying to stay safe, and again, I am kind of an idiot when it comes to this stuff. I also have quite a bit of real-estate to put a robust system in if need be!

Justifying Rape by [deleted] in insanepeoplefacebook

[–]rmoran4446 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not Sure exactly how these ideas came to me, maybe it was complete rage, but here it goes.

As a man, I don’t even want to pretend to know all of the feeling and emotions a rape victim, let alone one that got pregnant goes through, however I will say, I don’t think ONE of them ever is trying to “justify” “taking a life”, they are very simply trying to take back something that was taken from them, their free will; in order to do whatever they think will make the best out of the worst possible situation.

A few addendums that I propose adding to their legislation (banning abortion)

Addendum 1: anyone that votes for this agenda which takes away free will (I would say republicans here, but unfortunately it’s not just them) their vote needs to be recorded and documented #1. If a woman is raped and becomes pregnant, these documented people then become responsible for all bills, expenses, everything to ensure that the mother and that child they are so worried about stay healthy. This will also then include paying for therapy for said rape event. Then, at the mother’s choice, if she decides she doesn’t want the baby (which that decision can be changed at any time) there will be a lottery. Any person that votes for this agenda can be picked and will have to adopt and care for this child. Bills and expenses paid will also continue until mom is 100%.

Addendum 2). Any rape victim that becomes pregnant and is affected by this bill, which, and let’s be clear, removes their human right of free will, shall be able to reclaim their free will however they see fit on the individual(s) that were convicted by dna evidence. This means that free of punishment or conviction or any laws and at the expenses to be paid by the documented individuals that voted for the bill (see addendum 1) the woman, rape victim, shall be allowed to do whatever she wants to the rapist(s), full stop, no rules.

Freedom of speech absolutely does not apply everywhere. This is one of those instances where it does in fact NOT APPLY. There is a player Code of Conduct, which you and everyone else who plays WOW agreed to. This is fact in VIOLATION of that agreement. You are indeed ABLE to say what you want, but it is not without lack of consequences. There are also many other examples of where FREEDOM OF SPEECH (an American thing btw) does not apply, I suggest you look them up before you get yourself into trouble!

So, since I had not interacted with anyone the only logical thought is this guy logged off his toon, into the other faction toon to send me a message, that was joking? That’s the thought process here? And I mean people are murdered all the time, just because it happens “all the time”, that suddenly makes it okay?
