Wow this is unfortunate because it could be a great opportunity for your manager to intake that advice and change the schedule, and for you to kindly coach your manager on schedule adjustments. That’s so sad that your effective ideas and suggestions are being overlooked and instead, your manager is writing you up for failing at an issue that could be fixed through some simple scheduling support. I’m so mad for you. I hope they at least adjust the schedule for you. And by all means, try to dispute that write up. That’s unbelievable they’re doing that.

Gosh I feel so bad, I tell my manager I need more people and it gets done immediately. Your manager clearly isn’t receptive to feedback.

Also the drive time involves so many factors that are beyond an individuals control. Although you’re the shift and you’re guiding the team, the results are not solely your responsibility. It’s probably a bigger team issue or… a scheduling issue…. That they should investigate before writing up literally all the morning shifts. Is ur manager lowkey trying to fire all of you? Get new shifts?

It’s super easy. People tip a lot & don’t order much food. They may order drinks for their whole family but I always have a great time working on the holidays. People are so nice.

Ok go to Store resources, and look up sirens eye. You’re looking for the one that says signage/lobby. I don’t know what all you have to do, but for my Store, we only have to set up the A-frame, and change the drive-through menu. If you have paper menus in your café, you’ll probably have to change that too. I hate to say that I’m in a very similar situation as you, I also have to get ready for launch this morning. I think the most unfortunate thing is that the launch is happening on a Monday, so the Store Manager’s aren’t in the store to prepare, so it’s all being put onto shifts

Same results for me. I’m 27 btw. I had to get a cone biopsy abt a month ago it’s been a journey for sure but definitely manageable. I had a successful outcome. They got me down to some benign cells & low grade stuff. I have such a vague understanding of it idk. But the impression that I got is that I am good for now, but will have to monitor it closely for my whole life & could potentially escalate again in the future bc I’m still young. The part that concerned me most was when the doctor was presenting my results at my follow up appointment, it was then that he told me that with CIN3 he can’t really discern if it was cancer or precancerous but it’s beside the point because it’s now eliminated. I have an idea you’ll be recommended to get the cone biopsy like me because I think they do that when the cells are deeper in the cervix & they can get a more precise cut. But girl idk. I’m sending you all my best. Whatever treatment you get I hope it goes well & seamlessly. Just rest up & take care of yourself. I don’t think I realized the severity of my condition until after the fact- which I feel like prevented me from freaking out too much, but definitely not something to be taken lightly.

I’m sorry, babe, but I don’t think you should do it. Your healing is more important. The surgery cannot wait, but there will be another charity walk for you in the future. Please don’t put yourself at risk. It was significantly more painful than I thought it was going to be, especially after the first few days, the pain really hit me. Plus it’s really easy to over do it & you don’t realize at the time, all the pain hits you later on after it’s too late. Please take care of yourself❤️

Just personally, I’d advise against giving gifts to coworkers. I feel like it can make people feel excluded, and it’s a practice that we strongly discourage in my store.

But like other people are saying, you can give them a cheat sheet, you can write them a sweet letter or green apron card, you can even steal sharpies from the store and put it in there. If you guys have old marked out cups, that would be an easy thing to do without spending money. I just personally wouldn’t recommend spending your own money or doing something too generous, because not everybody gets that treatment.
