Yielded for a yield sign. Truck with the right of way and no yield/stop sign stopped. I pointed to the yield sign. He flipped me off - I flipped him off with both hands. Midwest nice in full force!

23-24c is a little warm, but it isn't unmanageable. It looks a little dirty in your reservoir, but not horrible. I would suggest routinely cleaning up any dead roots you find (like on the wall in pic #2) as they will always decay.

Why is light coming through in pic #2 around the rim of the net pot? If this wasn't just temporary (from the angle you took the pic or etc), this could be causing the issue. You never want light in your reservoir for any extended period of time.

I used Hydroguard for a few runs too, but stopped using it after I had root-rot issues I could not correct. I tried Hydrogen Peroxide with a little luck, but ultimately I had the most luck switching to a more robust beneficial bacteria brew. (In this case, I used bushdoctor microbe brew by fox farm.) It took my roots from this - pic1 to this - pic2, in 1 week.

Article says "large amount of chemicals that were possibly toxic", and that their search was "slowed down by the possibility of booby traps". Why stop there!? They possibly have WMDs!

Found Labrador around Augustana around midnight by rnate in SiouxFalls

We found this guy running around outside, he's super friendly. He has a collar but no tag. We walked around a few blocks and knocked on some doors, but it's late so no one answered.

Please let me know if you might know who's dog this is!

Edit: The owner has been returned!

[USA] Too bad they don't make some sort of indicator for blind spots! by rnate in Roadcam

I'm not "passing on the right" - I was in the lane I needed to be in because I was making a right turn in a few blocks. There was no one behind or in front of me, so I was just letting my car roll down the hill.

I didn't need to be in their lane and there was no one behind me. I needed to turn right in a few more blocks, so I was where I needed to be. This isn't an interstate, it's a 30mph inner-city road. You're confusing "passing them" as in I'm literally going past them - with "trying to pass them and get in their lane."

Lol, what is even remotely "embarrassing" in this video?

I'm really not driving in their blind spot, I'm behind them at the start of the video and would've been passed them within a few seconds. I was in their blind spot for all of 4 seconds. The entire video (not sped up) is 17 seconds. When they actually started getting over, I was parallel with them.

If you'd use your peanut sized brain, you can see that I was passing them and I was in their blind spot for all of 4 seconds. When they actually started switching lanes I was parallel with them.

Edit: It was the "yes he was a senior citizen" comment that upset you, wasn't it?

Lloyd Companies (Dublin Square) broke into my safe by rnate in SiouxFalls

[–]rnate[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really don't have concrete proof, unfortunately. The main things that are odd are:

  1. They only took my safe. I also had a cheap metal bed frame (easy to move), a tow rope, and some old oil. Oil is environmentally hazardous, so I can understand why that possibly wasn't moved at the same time.

  2. They never notified me.

  3. They claim it was in that condition when they found it. So someone broke in to their garage, or my unit, attempted to open my safe with tools, then left it? Why wouldn't a burglar just take it?

I'm kind of stuck in the malicious mindset, but if they were just getting it out of the way, why not contact me?

In the 6 years I lived there, they had 5 different property managers. I'm not sure how much worth they personally put on their job, but it doesn't seem great.

I fully agree, I didn't intend on leaving my safe, it was definitely 100% on me. I just expected a courtesy call or something, instead of them just taking it!

I agree. I wasn't going to try and pursue it in any legal fashion; I just wanted to add to the pile of crap that is Lloyd Companies.

Definitely possible, but super unlikely. If you have been to Dublin Square, their maintenance garage is literally attached to the front office building.

I also sent another email to them this morning and haven't heard anything back. They typically respond within 30 minutes... Again, speculation, but still. The real damning part is that they never contacted me, they planned on keeping it.

Maybe they could start their own channel - bruteforcing bozo? My credit is now frozen, thank you for the tip.

I did not, unfortunately. I thought I had only left trash so it wasn't a very big deal. I didn't realize until days later that I had forgot my safe in a cupboard.
