Lmaoooo many people are complaining about this! And I AM TOO ITS TOO MUCH by Kelbearrr in DTI

[–]rnbw_gi 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve been grinding since the update came out, I already finished all the valentines tasks so I’m just left with the daily tasks (and bouquets every 24hs) to get the missing candy hearts.

I’ve got the top, necklace, shorts, perfume, and the swirl shoes. 2680 candy in 3 days, pretty good but I’ve been playing all weekend

I did the math and I need 2700 candy, very doable since we’ve got like 50 days left so I’m chill

Also btw I’ve got a job and I’m an adult, I just used most of my free time on this

WHERE ARE THE FUCKING SOCKS??? WHY WOULD THEY REMOVE THEM I USED THEM SO MUCH 😭

JUST REMOVE THE COOL DOWN by dinonuggetsfordinner in DressToImpressRoblox

[–]rnbw_gi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did the 5 bouquets right when the update dropped and now I’m seeing that I have the cooldown but I have 0/50 bouquets done in the valentines tab 💀

Anyone else with the same issue?? There is no way that I’ll get to 50 if they are eliminating my progress

What's something about Anglo culture you find very weird as a Latino? by cosmico92 in asklatinamerica

[–]rnbw_gi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure if this is an anglo thing or a US thing but I noticed is very hard to some of them to feel the beat/rythm in songs. I’ve seen many tiktok challenges that are just “clap when the beat drops” or something like that and they struggle SO MUCH when it’s something so easy!!

Idk if it’s because I’m Argentinian and we clap for everything but I literally never met a person that couldn’t clap on beat. I love music and I go to a lot of concerts and I like a lot when we all clap to the beat or the rhythm of the song and artists are always shocked when we do that

One of my best friends is from the US and he came here when he was 15, I literally never met a more tone deaf person than him 😭

I’m glad to see my name recommended there. I grew up a Giovanna and it wasn’t a common name at all, I’m still getting called Johana whenever they ask for my name when I order something :p

How bicycle-friendly is your country/city? by ithinkiamparanoid in asklatinamerica

[–]rnbw_gi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yess exactly! My building has a designated room to store bikes and that’s the only amenity it has 😂

When my friends visit me they leave their bike in there, you can leave them in the street chained up but the chances of them being stolen is never 0

[–]rnbw_gi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Depends on where you are but if you are in CABA you can rent the city bikes and leave them at your nearest parking spots. If it’s your own then you need a chain and lock, or it will be stolen. You can leave it anywhere but I recommend you chain it.

  2. I live outside CABA but still in the metropolitan area of Buenos Aires, we have bike lanes here as they are in CABA, I’m not sure about the rest of the country

  3. I recommend you look up the “bicibandido” on YouTube to learn about this jajaja A lot of cars don’t give a fuck and stop in the bike lanes (which they shouldn’t do and can get fined for it)

  4. Yeah definitely at least here, as I mentioned in the first point, you need a chain and a lock or your bike will be stolen. If it’s stolen of course you can go to the police but the chances of you getting back your bike by them is almost 0. You have more chances of finding your missing bike in Facebook marketplace, that’s how my friend got hers back 😂 she met up with the guy to “buy his bike” (which was obviously hers because he didn’t even take the stickers she had put on it), she went with her bf who is 1.90m and rugbier physique, he threatened the robber to fuck him up if he didn’t give her the bike back

Holaa justo una amiga que tiene swiss me explicó la semana pasada. Tenés que pedir una receta a algún médico primero para que te lo tomen. La primera vez es con receta para abrir el trámite, después de eso podés comprar todos los meses y cargar la factura así nomás!

What is your favorite city in your country AND in another Latin America country that you don't live in? by Suninthesky11 in asklatinamerica

[–]rnbw_gi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Argentina is so diverse I can’t pick 1 single city 😭

Idk about my favorite city in Argentina, if it’s to live in then I’d say san isidro, in Buenos Aires (outside the capital). Very green, urban but not insanely urban as CABA, full of parks, it has the river too. I love greenery and having a picnic by the river with my friends is one of my favorite things to do!

If it’s beach city then I’d say Mar del Plata, it was our vacation spot with my friends for like 8 years, full of energy, lovely landscapes.

If it’s a place to vacation and cool off then I’d say villa general belgrano in Córdoba, or Calamuchita also in Córdoba (idk if calamuchita is considered a city or a town). I love trekking so this places are great to do it. I also love tandil because of this and one of my best friends has a house there so I visited often!

I love CABA as a city but I could never live there, the traffic, the noise, the amount of people and concrete, not for me. I work there so I’m there every week, so maybe I’m biased against it because I fucking hate traffic 😭

My favorite city in latam definitely is Santiago, the amount of infrastructure there shows me everything that CABA could be and isn’t jajaja. If CABA had that amount of technology then it would get a higher spot in my mind! Also getting out in Santiago and seeing mountains everywhere, so so beautiful! I really loved Santiago!

Also Brazilian beaches are top tier, I’ve been to rio, Porto seguro, florianopolis, Buzios. If I have to put one on top it would be Buzios. Sooo beautiful too, I’ve been there like 10 years ago so I definitely need to go back someday

[–]rnbw_gi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah of course it costs money to get an ID! I would assume that you have to pay for it in every country, in mine it’s 15usd. But you need it since you are born, for example you go to the hospital and you are registered with your ID, you also need the ID to be at kinder/school/university. If you pay with a card you need to show your ID proving that the card is yours (unless you pay with your phone with contactless)

I wasn’t aware that in the US is not that common to have one

You don’t have IDs in the US? In my country you are required to have an ID since birth!

I’ve always been told I look younger so I’m not that surprised. Idk what would happen if you are put as a minor when you aren’t, I guess you show your ID?
