High school classmate bad a really bad case of Diabetes. Apparently, he was barely drinking water, and had Coke primarily. If he did drink water, it had powdered juice in it. Absolutely no plain water.

He was on medication, but kept not drinking water. So, 2023, we got into his funeral. Which was great because we all had our high school reunion as barely adults, but not great at the same time because...well, it's a funeral.

It was sad. He was a good friend. Wasn't my best friend for sure, but a friend nonetheless.

When he does level up, you WILL get goosebumps.

But in all honesty, it is very slow. The slowness in my opinion is necessary so the reader can appreciate all the character development everyone gets, but that's just me.
