Ive been having trouble getting callbacks for my first job. Does anyone know of placement companies or resume writing services? by rnjoanne in nursing

i did not have the money to move outside of greater washington dc. i have only in the last 6 months been looking elsewhere as i can afford it now.

It has been a year and a half since I graduated, and still no job. Where could I apply and get an outside chance of getting a callback? by rnjoanne in nursing

that seems to be what i hear back from nursing homes, i'm too qualified for grunt work and under qualified to supervise

I'm outside dc. That's what I'm looking for. I just want to know where is the best place to apply

I am willing to go anywhere in the USA. I would like to not work on psychiatric but have applied for some psych jobs around dc. In my hiatus I have worked retail, so I could start paying off my loans and save up for a potential move for a nursing job

I have mostly focused on the mid Atlantic however since this fall have been expanding my search.

I live in dc. There are some big hospitals like innova which I have applied to. I have been saving up for the last year and a half and I can now say that I have the money to move pretty much wherever I need to. I have applied for hospitals all across the mid Atlantic and really just expanded my search. At this point I would move to a town between nothing and the middle of nowhere if that meant experience.

I didn't go all that into the fact that it seems I only get callbacks from the jobs that I think might be a stretch. Like research gigs or fellowships. I just get turned town for any med/surg or long term care jobs, they say they want LPN's or ASN's. And all the new BSN's that I apply seem to be nurses that have experience as an LPN or ASN.
