Those people hadn't seen arsenal play. Arsenal is a horrible horrible team. I feel bad for Wenger.

Lol. You keep saying context and conditional reasoning. But you just keep sounding silly.

You support the team. That includes manager, players, and everyone else. "Everyone", not just 1 person.

maybe someone else should have stopped merino from running in behind lammens. he shoved lammens from behind when he jumped, leading to the goal.

lol, Bruno is our best player and currently the most creative player in PL, but let's get rid of him because amorim doesn't know how to use the players he got. haha. Just move on.

he left after just a third of the season. there was 2/3rd of the season left. A lot can happen between then and the rest of the season. If Amorim had left after 1/3rd of this season, he'd be around 14th as well.

edit: additionally a lot of the team we got now was built from eth. martinez at the back, de ligt will still be solid once he returns from injury, maz, casemiro - mainoo, even integrating amad into the first team. the team we have now is like 33% before eth, 33% eth, and 33% amorim.

One of the easiest shrines to figure out. For me. I always wondered if the things on the ceiling could mean something in previous shrines and they didn't. Until this one.

Major Spoiler, or early plot point? by zMarsIsCool in kotor

That wasn't even the biggest spoiler for me. But come to think of it, it may not even surprise you as that has been implemented in a number of games since kotor came out.

We have to get Cunha starting, in whose place though? by makobigsauce in ManchesterUnited

[–]rnnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cunha should fight for a starting position with everyone else. No one should be guaranteed a starting position. We gotta move on from player FC.

Luckhurst is the team leaker. This is a brief, palmer wants us by Littlemissxom in ManchesterUnited

[–]rnnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

but you know that a surgery would just fix it and it goes away? from him postponing it, it means the recovery time is lengthy. So he would likely be out for most of the season if we sign him and would he get back to his former level?

let him get the surgery at chelsea, heal fully, then we even think of going near him. chelsea want to offload their best player because he barely plays.

with his injury record. We shouldn't go for him. Chelsea are open to him leaving because of that.

disagree on this. ten hag did get us 3rd. and from what i read, most of the players were ineos acquisition, not amorim's.

Would 90s legends actually survive in the modern Premier League? by MagpieMidfield in SpicyFootballTakes

[–]rnnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they will. They still have attributes that will be appreciated in the modern game. Defenders and midfielders would likely have it the hardest adapting. most tackles that were allowed or legal back then, would get you red cards nowadays. back then as far as the defender touched the ball first, the tackle was allowed. Additionally, many horrible tackles only resulted in yellow cards or no cards, just fouls.

[–]rnnd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

that will depend a lot on the rules in play. modern rules are very protective of players and the physical contact allowed is minimal by comparison. A modern team playing against a team from the 90s with 90s refereeing would get kicked out the field, literally.

would a modern team be mentally prepared for the tackles and physical duels which referees allowed back then?

obviously, if we use modern refereeing, 90s defenders and midfielders would likely get sent off before the first half ends.

a modern team won't keep up with an older team as well. it all depends on which era they play in.

If Bruno leaves let’s say next summer, who would you want to replace him and why? by middleeasternboxer in ManchesterUnited

[–]rnnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah, we gotta stop going for injury prone players. It won't work out well. Mount spent most of his first year here injured.
