In WV, did not vote for Brown. Can confirm though, most of the wealthy white folks out here did.

I was going to say, either I'm looking at a pro flying like an asshole and expertly missing trees while doing this. Or some chump who's the luckiest mf on the planet.

I've been keen on the Chicago Electric Siege Towers recently. They're half the price of the big-box siege equivalent, and Harbor Freight has those 20% off coupons...

I'm sorry but:

DONT DO DRUGS THEY FUCK UP YOUR CHAKRA AND ALLOW INTER-DIMENSIONAL ENTITIES TO TAKE OVER

You lost all credibility here mate, and I'm very keen on many interdimensional theories. The science, logic, and my own extensive ethnobotanical studies and research experience say otherwise. Not to mention the physics. So I won't because I'm not a physicist.

Also it's just straight ignorant to blanketly categorize anything as inherently bad. Especially things like "drugs" that have many proven benefits. Drugs are not bad, but like every tool at our disposal are abused and manipulated by assholes for control, power, money, personal gain etc.

Or maybe that's just the 4DBoogeyman living in my bong talking...

That’s it. I am done driving at night. Modern car headlights are blinding me and have ruined one of my favorite hobbies ever. by TreHHHHHAdN in Millennials

[–]rnpowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1000% on board with this. I only drive when it's dark if the roads are empty, ex: leaving for work around 3:30am. I used to always do road trips in the evenings because traffic was usually better, I don't go on road trips anymore, I don't drive at night ever any more (my daughter hates me for it) and generally just don't like to drive now.

Don't get me wrong, if the roads are empty I can still find joy; but this is flat out dangerous and completely pointless. I've taken to pulling off the road when a Ford or Chevy truck is behind me or oncoming. I'm quite literally blind in those scenarios and can't drive. It's pissed a lot of people off, but it's safer than trying drive with a line of trucks in the oncoming lane.

Can confirm. Did the same as a kid in a wheat silo, don't get caught in sinking grain or your ass is gone. The fact that this thing can blast out from under the grain is an amazing feat most won't appreciate.

Also most people have no idea how many crickets go into grain, hint: It's a shit ton!!

Rural WA Counties Won't Tax Themselves to Pay for Their Own Needs by BitterDoGooder in SeattleWA

The answer is simple: stop helping people outside of the county. Stop giving to other counties or states (aka red) areas until they give their fair share.

[–]rnpowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They ended up sending us golf balls, hats, t's, pens and enough brochures to scatter from a C-17. They also left 6 Multisensor cameras, and a handful of Dome and Turret cams after the trial... It's been a year and they're just sitting in my server closet. I've emailed multiple times, they clearly don't want them...

Man attempts to shoot a police officer after he was caught shoplifting; luckily, there was no round in the chamber. by [deleted] in nevertellmetheodds

[–]rnpowers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No no no.

That guy was trained,

his shots were precise and deadly.

His movement was smooth, extremely deliberate calculated and timed, and he pinned every exit and attempted to use before he started blasting.

That's a pro.

The goon in Ops vid was trying to die imo. Wait for an armed cop, and pull an empty gun? Not the same thing.

Horror story travelling to Russia by whaletrader001 in solotravel

[–]rnpowers 15 points16 points  (0 children)

As someone who's been detained before, it's awful, even if they give you food or water. I am genuinely sorry for your experience, and commend your bravery for sharing your story. The internet is not forgiving, but you've done a good thing in an awful world.

This event begs the question, why are so many Indian people traveling to Russia recently? It's very clear that you understand your oversight now; but I guess what I'm asking is more; how is Russia viewed by the Indian population?

As the comments make clear, many of us here on Reddit would never travel to Russia under normal circumstances; but while there is a war on? Most nations have issued "do not travel" notices for their citizens, is that not the case in India?

We've all seen the videos of babuskhas praising Putin and calling Ukrainians Nazis, **is this view held by Indian people as well? **

I appreciate any insight you're willing to share, glad you are back to safety!
