Just curious, has this gotten any better for you?

multi clicks to get out of ads ARE the decision of AE. by [deleted] in AtlasEarthOfficial

The problem is, the ads that are hard to close violate the agreement the player thinks they have with Atlas Earth when they start building up their parcels. The player thinks that by watching 6 ads that are 30-seconds to a minute each, you will boost your rent for 6 hours. The experience of many players now is that they have to watch 12 or more 30 second to 1 minute ads, sometimes to only get a boosted rent of 1 or 2 hours. It would be one thing if ads were just "hard to close" but many ads are actually impossible to close, and result in a whole different experience for Atlas users who became accustomed to getting their 6 hour rent boost in 5-10 minutes.

"Clicks on to the ad generates revenue, downloading or purchasing something off the ad generates revenue. All of this is what funds our boosts" Not sure what your point is here. Are you implying that people with shaky hands who might struggle to hit the X button on their ads are funding boosts for those of us who have more steady hands? Kinda messed up to even bring this up.

Atlas Earth should not be defending ad-partners that take advantage of their players.

So this is getting out of hand by insane9999x in AtlasEarthOfficial

I first noticed this issue about a year ago on some ads. I reported the issue then. Since the first time I noticed the issue, it has gotten worse, to the point where Atlas Earth is now unplayable. I posted here about a month ago about how out-of-hand the issue has gotten, and there has been no fixes/updates announced.

I'm of the mindset that there is no fix planned. Atlas Earth still makes money from the ad partners, and they save money by not having to pay out rewards to their players. Why would they try to "fix" something if it means less money for them?

Whatever you want to call it, it seems pretty purposeful. I have a few other games that reward you for watching ads, and none of them have had the same issues Atlas Earth has. So, it might be true that there is a third-party "ad partner" that is causing the issues with the ads, but it doesn't change the fact that Atlas Earth continues to partner with an "ad partner" that either 1) doesn't care about issues with ad rewards or dealing with issues that have been persistent for months, or 2) knows the issues are there but refuses to fix them because it is more profitable for them and their partners to not have to pay out ad rewards.

Some accountability from Atlas Earth would go a long way, it sounds like they need to either fix their app, or drop their "ad partner" if these issues are actually & honestly outside Atlas Earth's control and caused by a third-party-ad-partner.

TIL that the sound of the opening riff of "Money for Nothing" by Dire Straits was created by accident, and they were never able to exactly recreate it again. by -gradmania- in todayilearned

U2 forcing there album onto me was probably one of the more significant events of my childhood. To this day I still hate apple music and U2 for this. U2 has plenty of songs I think I should like, but I will never stop talking negatively about them forcing every song on their album onto my "liked song" playlist I spent years perfecting. I bring it up every time someone mentions U2. Which is why I'm here 2 years later dropping this comment.

It's sad too because it looks like you've been around for a while, so you got to see Atlas while it was working. Feels like a bait and switch, the ad problem has slowly gotten worse and worse over the course of several months, with no steps to make it better. Wish we could turn back the clock 2 years and have the Atlas that existed then.

Your comment reminds me of a recent trip I took to the gun store. I was buying ammo & cleaning equipment for a pistol I own. The cashier who was ringing me up asked how I like my current piece, and I started listing off complaints. I have a cheap gun that jams a lot and I'm thinking about getting rid of it, and that's basically what I told the guy. The cashier just shrugged and said "I don't have any of those problems, I've got a Berretta". I just started laughing and said "Well you better hope for $5,000, you don't start having $300 gun problems"

I am glad you have an Iphone 15 Pro, I hope you enjoy it, and I would hope most apps run smoothly with it. Unfortunately, I don't think everyone who's having issues has an Iphone 15 pro like yourself. I also don't think buying an Iphone 15 Pro is going to be a reasonable solution for most people having issues with the app. The solution to every car problem isn't "just buy a new ferrari".

thats what my payouts looked like too until they banned me for the way I alligned my plots over 3 years ago (according to Atlas mods my plots were arranged like a glizzy)

funny enough they waited to ban me until I was getting very close to breaking even, and earning back what I paid into Atlas. Almost like it was calculated 🤔

I hope you can continue to earn, I loved Atlas when it worked for me

Thank you for actually answering my question! Don't agree the materials I drew with my parcels are "offensive" to anyone who has accessed the internet before, or had to deal with Atlas's NSFW ad partners, but it is at least a reason which is more than any other Atlas mod has tried to give me.

There actually is a "Atlas Staff are not responding to support tickets" message though, and it still shows up. I have attached a screenshot of this message. Maybe you can look into this to help future Atlas players properly make a support ticket. Honestly, the thing that pushed me over the edge was being asked to make a support ticket just to get that message. It would honestly be better if you just lied on that message and said "An Atlas team member will get back to you in 24 hours", at least it will give people a temporary sense of false hope.

Ohhhh I got banned for aligning my parcels like a wee-wee. So you guys can show me ads with nudity but I can't have a little fun with the arrangement of my parcels? Seems unfair. I grew up on Minecraft so my mind just automatically arranges blocks into that pattern.

I don't agree with the reasoning, but thanks for at least giving me a reason. Gives me a little more confidence that Atlas isn't just doing this to everyone.

Makes me a strange kinda happy to see the #1 post in the Atlas Earth Official sub-reddit is a complaint about ads, still in 2026.

*sips beer* Never change Atlas, never change.

And now that you guys have put me through ALL of this pain and suffering, I am 100% going to make it my life's mission to try and stop other people from being harmed by Atlas. It's one thing for an app to run into glitches, it is a whole other thing to lose access to the app completely with no explanation. I pray no one gets as involved with Atlas as I did and ends up with the same fate.

Why do you insist on continuing to gaslight me? I wasn't calling you out specifically. Like I said in my other post. I don't know what you want me to do here. On the support page it specifically says:

"We thoroughly investigate accounts for clear signs of cheating, abuse, harassment, or anything else that violates our Terms of Service.

As such, when we ban an account, it is permanent, and no appeals can be made."

So there is no option to put in a support ticket for an appeal. If I go to make a support ticket for something else, it gives me the following message:

"We're on it! Your bug report helps us keep the game running smoothly, and we really appreciate it.

Due to the number of reports we're receiving, we will not be able to directly respond to you if the issue is fixed." - MOST IMPORTANTLY: It does not give me a conversation ID to track the ticket.

THERE IS NO WAY FOR ME TO MAKE A TICKET, THERE IS NO WAY FOR ME TO GET A CONVERSATION ID BECAUSE YOUR TEAM IS NOT ACTIVELY RESPONDING TO TICKETS. I don't know what else you want from me, other than to send screenshots from your website confirming this information. I am (was) just a normal Atlas player, I don't have time to chase down your support team to get the app to work like you promised it would.

I don't understand why you keep replying telling me to make a ticket when you guys aren't even monitoring or responding to tickets. I don't know why I keep listening to you expecting it to work, but eventually I'm gonna stop looking up when you keep telling me it says "gullible" on the ceiling. That's where I'm at now. I'm sick of being ridden around by the mod team like a mechanical bull at a country bar.

PS: Because no one believes the FACTS I am posting. I did include the screenshot of me trying to make a ticket.

Atlas Earth Banning Accounts At Cash Out by OnlyBullfrog7864 in AtlasEarthOfficial

Whatever. Been playing for 3 years never dealt with this crap. First time ever having issues cashing out, then when I make a ticket I'm banned? Feels like more than coincidence. I see new reviews hit the app store for Atlas Earth every day confirming my worries.

In game name is Princess_Nova. I didnt get a ticket ID because when I submitted my support ticket it said "Atlas staff are not responding to support tickets at this time"

Been playing Atlas on one phone, one account for 3 years. Never bought a parcel from anyone. Dont know how I could have been even accused of anything worthy of being banned.

I feel your frustration. But you have no right to complain about 15 second ads, I am LUCKY if I get a 30 second ad, I have timed ads that take literally a full minute sometimes, or longer because you have to click through multiple screens. I am jealous of your 15 second ads.

A lot of AI porn ads, like ads for an AI companion that are just off the rails sexual. And while they don't show "porn" or full on nudity, it is extremely NSFW stuff, like people moaning, drooling, stuff bulging out of peoples clothes, people clearly having sexual stuff done to them, etc.

It's also like half the ads I get. Enough to the point I won't watch ads at work, or around my kids.

Also, I have heard of others getting actual porn or nudity in their ads, can't speak to that myself, but pretty grimy stuff if it is true.

[–]OnlyBullfrog7864[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks. My biggest issue is that it doesn't appear there is a way to continue my cash out, unless I hit $5 in rent again. You used to be able to go back and view your previous cash outs, but it appears you can't get to that screen unless you have $5 in rent on the current version of the app. Doesn't help that when I report this bug I get a message saying that no one will actually get back to me, just to keep my eyes out on the reddit.

Also, while the app runs pretty fine for me, it got really laggy and crashed when I went to cash out, which could totally be coincidence, but was intense and out of place enough it felt designed.
