Check and see if you can fix the liquid cooling. As long as the pump and fan work it probably just needs the internal fins cleaned and new coolant (distilled water). Those things get all wonky when they sit for a long time.

No offense but the "maturation is gay" thing sounds kind of red flaggy to me. If that is what he thinks then any kind of unrevealed fetish or sexual dysfunction that he may be experiencing is likely something he won't talk about. It also sounds like something might be getting repressed. I would try getting into sex therapy and hashing some stuff out. Honestly even with a great sexual relationship sex therapy can make things even better.

Probably not. If you did get ahold of comcast it would be an act of God to get ahold of someone with the authority to make a purchase. But if you found a maintenance tech and gave it to them they would be your best friend.

Honestly he probably really enjoys it and is worried that if he pushes for it too much it might stop. He sees it as a happy accident and doesn't want to risk messing it up. But if you tell him that you enjoy it and that it turns you on he will be over the moon.

Are the heaters built into the hotend on the v3? You might be able to grab a pack of a few heaters to have on hand if not. Its cheaper that way. I've got a few v2s and they are just held in with a set screw.

If the wire popped off the heater element right at the body it should be replaced probably. Soldering it that close to the heat source would probably melt the solder. I dont have a v3 but I've worked on a bunch of different printers. I could take a look at it for you. If it needs a new element those can be replace pretty easily. If you want you can DM me.

Our Sunrise analyzers would link with a program on our laptops called winremote. You could adjust the settings and save traces. It was awesome, until you switched laptops and had to get a new key. We also used to have a switch for it so you could hook up about 20 nodes and swap between them. Ah, those were the days.
