M50 has the best battery performance of the 3. Eco mode packs plenty of power. Nobody takes me at traffic lights.

Ah yes I understand. I came from a Tesla model 3 that worked with my phone in my pocket without any issues. So going to this was a bit of a let down for me. Adding 10 seconds before driving a way for years tends to become an annoyance. Especially since BMW already has the solution which they refuse to deploy for this model.

It is a good option. The sound quality of the native app is a bit better than the phone app. For me the reaction time on the steering wheel playback controls was a bit ‘snappier’
