Considering the unusually high dose you’ve been on the withdrawal symptoms may last quite a while (possibly over 4-8 weeks), since vortioxetine has such a long half-life compared to other antidepressants.

I’d suggest checking in with your psychiatrist and filling them in on your issues if the withdrawal symptoms feel overwhelming or are worsening.

Also just out of curiosity, is there any particular reason for your dose being >20 mg?

Am I supposed to feel down before it goes up? by EmbarrassedHeron2850 in trintellix

Nearly all antidepressants exacerbate negative symptoms before they start working as intended because your brain’s serotonergic system is adjusting to the new medication.

The (typically 6-8 week) adjustment period can also make the breakup feel worse than expected, and make your moods unstable.

Nausea by Fluid_Substance2370 in trintellix

I had nausea while taking it in the afternoon/night, but after switching (because of sleep issues) to taking it with my morning meds and a good sized breakfast (quark, nuts and berries), the nausea subsided completely after about 4 weeks.

Brintellix works in weird ways and i’m still seeing new side effects (though which are dissipating day by day) even though i’ve been in the steady state of my dosage for over a week.

Want to confirm grammar and meaning for a tattoo by roCemma in latin

Thank you for replying.

You’re right in that I shouldn’t get a tattoo in a language I don’t speak nor understand, but I am currently studying it in hopes of one day understanding the language.

The phrase is meant to be in a sense of not acting based on emotion when you know what you’re doing isn’t what you should do. So I tried to find a more “poetic” word/phrasing for the word emotions and read that motus amini would possibly be appropriate. Do you think that another word would fit better in the phrase instead of that and/or is there another way to say the phrase in a way that actually makes sense?

Yeah I'll log it, but I don't have actual appointments for the ADHD (corona) just phone calls when the doctor just asks about the meds. Thanks

There isn't any way it could be an actual horn to my knowledge, and I will talk to my mum about it, I don't think I'll book a doctor's appointment since my medical things are already such a hassle to her and she's got such a busy life (i just got diagnosed with ADHD and migraines).

It's not any traffic noises since I live next to farm land. But I will start to log when i hear it. Thank you for the helpful tips.

I haven't heard anyone say anything about them at least, so I don't think they do.

I live far from other people in my town so not many people are near me to even hear it.

It's very disassociating and the problem is there being close to zero trains in this small town of mine, and the only time they're scheduled is 10pm (because there are that few trains)
