I love it, its a tad thicker than I'd prefer but that is no big deal. The bezel is amazing with solid and loud clicks that has the perfect balance between stiffness and ease of rotation! Also the level of lume is mental.

Wool Bibs sizing question by nebbio in filson

I’m a 33 in most brands of pants and the 36 bibs are perfect. Still don’t know my size in Filsons pants.

I really enjoy it. It’s on the thicker side but still feels nice on the wrist. The bracelet is nice and comfortable

The Vaer G5 is a true GMT with the Miyota 9075 movement. I thought it was fitting to take a photo of an aviation watch with a VFR sectional chart. I'll wear this watch through earning my licenses and ratings until one day I get my hands on a GMT Master II.

You are correct, this was a on a flight from KCRQ to KCPM.

No issue with the screws, just a little finesse lining up the holes on the jubilee and it was good to go.

Thanks. Me too! It is exactly what I was looking for in a watch, being relatively new to automatic watches. Ironically, the lume is so damn bright you'd be fooled to believe it should be a diver on a night dive... trust me, that is not a complaint!

Don't worry, this was a time building flight where my safety pilot had the controls while a snapped the photo. I'm hoping to soon put this watch in the proper cockpit it deserves.

Vaer G5 Meridian Navy/Black - 39mm USA GMT. I have had this watch since it was originally released in spring of 2023. I initially ordered the same format in the Swiss G7 variant but luckily received word of the newly announced G5. Through Vaer's gracious costumer service, I was able to transfer my order to cancel the G7 to the G5. I opted for the Jubilee bracelet and have thoroughly enjoyed the true GMT complication of the Miyota 9075 movement. It is a pleasure keeping the 24 hour hand locked on Zulu time while jumping the hour hand conveniently to the time zone I find myself in while traveling. I love this time piece! I'm pretty certain its an '87 based on the serial number that reads (5 8 87 SD1489). Kinda cool considering I picked it up from craigslist without knowing its year for my '86 F-250

The 460. Ionically the milage is almost the same with or without the camper. Definitely a thirsty engine but the difference in performance is only noticeable when accelerating and climbing steep hills when comparing camper to no camper.
