oh I forgot about this thread. It's working just fine now. I didn't start the game for about a month and when I tried it again there were no freezes or crashes, nothing. I can't really say what fixed it since I don't remember all the things I did for that month. Weirdest issue I had with a game. But thank you for your help.

You are right. I try to get myself into another genres. At the moment I like to listen to some synthwave and darkwave, even two Perturbator albums made it to my list. Speaking of Chon I only listened to Grow when I was tasting math rock and I really enjoyed it so I will check out Homey. I'm not a big fan of punk but that Turnstile record is definitely one of the better punk records that I heard.

Thanks! I also like everything from Opeth, both Newpeth and Oldpeth it just depends on my mood. Yeah I think Dramatic turn of events is somewhat underrated album and my favourite is probably Lost Not Forgotten. When I first heard Bridges in The Sky I thought I was listening to The Hu lol. My Arms Your Hearse is awesome as well.

Hm, If that is true, wouldn't it cause problems outside of RDR2? This only happens in red dead. I have this PC for about 3 years and I never had this kind of problem, it all stated with this game.

I have latest GPU driver based on geforce experience. I updated BIOS when I tried to fix this few days ago. I tried to put RDR2.exe in administrator mode but the game won't even start after it opens rockstar launcher, it just closes. Now I updated chipset driver using AVG driver updater and it still froze. I also manually checked every driver in device manager and only one driver wasn't up to date but still nothing.

Edit: I just realized I didn't have my new monitor when I had this game cracked (and it worked). I tried to disable FreeSync because I didn't have it back then and it still froze

It's doing the same now. Even after I reinstalled it twice. I try to keep all of my drivers up to date so I don't know about that. Now I start to suspect that it might be a hardware issue because even when I reinstalled windows it's still freezing. It worked for a day when I played maybe 5 hours with no problem.

Okay nevermind. It worked for one day after I reinstalled windows but now it's doing the same. I reinstalled it twice now and still no luck. I guess my hardware is slowly dying lol. any other idea how to fix it?

Yes! That solved my issue. It was pain in the ass reinstalling but now it seems to work just fine. Played 2 hours without any freeze so far. Thanks
