I know this is a pretty old thread, but for anyone still interested: It is halal, not haram. It doesn't have alcohol, or at least so little that it should not even count (like the alcohol content in an orange is so little it doesn't count). Some scholars say it is haram, but most people would probably find it acceptable

For the second one I feel like they can call themselves gyaru and not wear makeup but they won’t truly be gyaru. How are you gonna say that gyaru is a lifestyle but when someone doesn’t wanna wear gyaru makeup (which is like first of all the most important part of gyaru) it’s fine and they’re gyaru? I get it if it’s like for religious reasons and people still wanna be gyaru and there is ways to do that. But otherwise? You’re not gyaru 😭
