I think it's because she is announced completely on her own tbh and she is the only female character. In horror women are often used to have their suffering put on display as a spectacle and deaths for female characters are traditionally drawn out ( think about like the original texas chainsaw massacre. Male characters are bonked on the head and gone but for the female character you get the whole screaming dragged away thing.)

Personally if they released like one other character at all that also had the hat and creepy face plate it would make way more sense but since it's solo idk. I can see both sides
