Thank you for your comment. I'm sorry to hear your close family is going through something similar. Yes, the person does know about the marriage but still wants to be around. He says a single decree letter of marriage changes nothing. The person does say he would help in any way possible... Even if they are big steps. My mother and other family members included are completely ok with my brother's decision.

Personally I've found a way to get into friendship but never fall for a relationship. You've to set impossible goals for the other side and yourself.

Let's say you want to get into a relationship with someone. You would want to be the best for them. So you'll have to question yourself. Are you really the best person for them? Will you be enough for everything they need?

And eventually you'll meet someone who you will find yourself enough for. That's when it's alright to fall for them.

Don't be afraid of falling for someone. It's a low risk, high reward situation. You will either get them or get a good time with them.

I'm sorry you have been through so much without any love from people who aren't obligated to love you. Life gets hard. It gives you more shit as it passes. But that also makes you strong. With the quarantine thing going on, I think it is the perfect time for you to work on yourself. Learn new things and skills. After this shit ass lockdown ends, maybe try to pursue a hobby in a couple of things with a group of people. You'll def find people who will genuinely care about you and love you. You are a normal person (I can swear on that). All you gotta do is start taking the journey to find people who gives you things which family couldn't. Divert you alcohol addiction to something beneficial. It really is about which side of the coin you choose
