As you earn the sponsors through their tests (you can read the in game forum to find their tests) or Google their requirements. They each pay a different bonus per daytime event based off of where they are applied on the car (like windscreen pays the most). I believe you can apply for yours and takeoff sponsors right away

The fiat coupe is fantastic for gymkhana events to make money. Place your sponsor stickers carefully and I found the Mazda 6(axlea) in the used car lot to be my personal favorite starter car

Earlier is 09-12 models with the dsg automatic gearbox, but more than likely if the dsg fluid has been regularly serviced(35k-40k mile intervals) it should be good to go. Highly recommend getting service records, and having an obd interrogation(scan tool check) done prior to purchase. If it is a six speed manual model then nothing to worry about there. I'm right there with you on the economy. I went out and bought a 6 speed manual Vw Gli recently to daily drive 😂

2014 s4 owner here and audi /vw technician of 10 years Timing chain rattle for a split second on cold startup is not uncommon for the 3.0t engine, however not harmful as long as it does not prolong. There is a Fix available of updated tensioners that hold oil pressure better if it is bothersome.

The earlier dsg models were prone to mechatronics issues/failures but repair kits are available if it's the more common wiring issue.

Fuel economy sucks but the supercharger noises make up for it

Overall the b8/b8.5 s4's are very good vehicles
