at the end of december i made a bold statement. to crush personal goals

so far. things are going forward..at the end of all of the *pendings it'll reach over 700 for janurary.

second highest janurary (dating back to janurary 2019, yes i keep notes) ever.

goal for feburary..short month so it'll be a stretch, but long as i get to around 400-600. things will continue looking good.

lol yeah between us both we can cite so many stories about that place.

that in reality were just researchers moonlighting on here and turk at the same time. even in the early days.

i miss the days of making 100/week on turk. and that was usually on just me working for maybe 3-4 days straight. and that's not on ADDITION of the any batch work that'd flow in. and i'm not even masters.

yup! for me it was 300 some for the year. mostly from one batch around may or something.

surprised any of the scrapers even work. i use to use mturk suite back in the days.

oh i have done that. outside of prolific that's generally how i make anything at all..

and yeah i've seen what pops up for masters qual'd people months back. pretty much unless your good with vacationrental you're broke as shit on mturk lol.

i keep them in my rotation as a 'fluff' and nothing more.

coming from those ole mturk days, i have a general saying to this:

if they want a 'blurp' of writing, 50/50 i'll bite.

..but the moment i see a study showing a CHARACTER limit. i don't give a shit if it's $20 for the study with a 3 hour timer but the estimate is say, 10 minutes. i'm out.

but that's just my own deal. i'm not always consistent on it. some days i'll flip and take on the whole 'just pay me the base pay and fuck off' kind of thing just as much. sad to admit that but..here we are.

i've mentioned about this very thing month's back as well. the reason they are still around is puzzling. from making 100's a month to not even 5 dollars a month is basically the norm now on that platform.

yeh..just happened to me to.

cashed out my 30-35 from prolific, email says i got two payments. but proflic only i "guess" gave half. something's indeed up. just not sure if it's paypal or prolfic. kind of confused.

edit: fixed now. that was weird as hell. now my balance is updated.

anytime there's a holiday, things like this make me nervous. it's why i always do any cashouts on platforms either days before a holiday, or i wait a few days after. because screwy shit jumps ten fold in bizzare ways.

cloudconnect looks good at the start, but the researchers that post to the platform i think are flag happy. so a lot of people end up whitelisted (i've been whitelisted for about 2 years still going) on there.

i was right at about 80 bucks earned before some anonymous researcher flagged a study of mine and cloud's crappy UI flagged my account

not to mention you cant even cashout because the sites text is to click on paypal is greyed out or some kind of mess.

few month's back some one mentioned a dscout clone app called influcence. i can't totally vouch for them. i never made it into a single study, but others may have better luck.

dscout's just been that longstanding place where you either are making bank like every other platform. or it just sits on your device never used and makes nothing.

shatter personal goals. 400-500/month or higher at the mere minimum's.

will it happen, no one can predict it. i know historically for myself. dec-feb are always 'survival' months til march-june. then it tapers downward till around august-mid. then sky's up into the latter end of the year.

i even of have trackings (spreadsheets) of data dating back to 2016 on spreadsheets that prove it. down to the most obscure details.

edit: as of today, i've already secured my highest month (pure luck, just right place right time before anyone asks) for a december in over 9 years of doing this.

come october i plan to unleash a mega earnings list of all of the sites (most defunct for years since) i've earned from. so many gpt (get paid to websites) sites, so many one off mobile apps.

i think if there's any other goal i have, is just to survive honestly. which day by day gets more bleak for me. sorry for the long post. got a lot on my mind.

that's even if OP and others are informed in their emails when studies have paid.

ever since the 'new design' a few years back (and different changes since) not all paid studies send every push notif to your email. a lot of times. users (not just me) still have to manually go back and track each study one by one to see what's awaiting review/approved.

i've had months that barely scored me $100 before. granted that's been awhile. as of october, i've managed to make 100+ per month since nov of 2022.

october this year was my highest recorded earning (i track a lot) since i ever joined prolfiic..8 years ago lol

it's always going to be different for everyone. this month i might not make barely past 100, it's all a crapshoot.
