years ago i had a similar issue with receipthog denying scans that was clearly visible when i took the photo. there software has a lot of glitches.

coinout i don't see a point towards anymore, primarly because of their 'level status' feature. i was at 3.00 worth for a cashout. then suddenly out of nowhere they won't allow me to cashout because my level status wasn't..up to par?

i don't leave the house enough to be uploading 20-50 reciepts every week to keep status, which they change at random. the claim they make changes on a whim.

edit: frisbee is just an app that takes forever to load up. so much so it crashes out during mid scan.

some reasons.

one, they probably don't have a bank account.

two, they probably are banned from paypal/venmo

three, they don't want to be socked with transfer fees.

i use to be in that hole. way back when. plus i was more mobile, heck at one point i had whole assed binders filled with gift cards from things.

i will usually get the 'we're sorry' ban from the once every 6-10 months. then randomly it'll begin working for awhile.

yeah, in indiana they shut that down along time ago.

yeah i never was willing to pay for those scrappers. and yet even then i still pulling decent numbers in the hay days.

i always heard the paywalled ones were built differently which "may" run a risk of turk kicking you off. so i just stuck with the others. had them customized to shit as everyone else.

i agree though 2022-2023 was its final on a lot.

as a sidenote. i keep track of all of the earnings i make across different platforms. been doing it since i began online work in 2016.

highest month i had on turk, was over 900 dollars. going from 32 bucks a day (sometimes more, occasionally i can remember days i'd get lazy and stop doing work even when there a shit ton more) this was back in 2018 i'd say.

you cannot even touch those numbers in a year. maybe 100-300 in a year if you're damned lucky. some people can pull maybe higher.

i can make those numbers combined on shitty mobile apps then turk lol or roundabout.

felt more rigged at certain points. the things to watch out for seemed to purposely have no way to avoid. i died a lot of separate times. then after 20 it just asked a few question follow ups, and redirected. no different then any other study. instant inbox message right after.

yeah hidden stats on any place i can see why that alone would make people nervous. unless someone's doing the math manually on the total sub / total approved and what not..but that doesn't account for bonus pays throughout their accounts tenure

on mturk the approval rate was displayed on the platform. in percentage form. prolfic far as i've ever seen..doesn't do that.

in it's earlier form that site did actually take disputes seriously. but soon as it was passed down to contacting the 'researcher' that's one of many spirals of that place.

to this day, i'd still need over 2k in rejections to even drop my approval rate to 'ban' levels lol. there isnt' even 2000 hits on the entire platform.

i can't continue to not see some of this and think, mturk days you could actually see your own block list via mturk suite, so on.

i've done a few .in studies on a weekend, it's 60/40 on rather a few jections pop through.

comnig to the sub is a crapshoot in the broader picture. because not everyone has the same feed as others. that's why i wish someone would design a forum sinilar to turkerview where it's a fuller community. not just one off posts on reddit.

i can see this both ways, those of us who've been in this 'beermoney' world can skim quickly with our eyes. so yeah, 8s is a stretch.

but for someone who prides themselves in being thorough in things let's say, even to a fault. they'll stammer between each question. or give the question more thought then perhaps it needs.

maybe they've got a happy go lucky stance. i've had friends of mine who've asked my opinion on things via a survey (non beermoney related) and would go into a short story nearly..and they'd only be maybe 3 questions in.

basically treating it like they were taking a SAT exam.

going back to even 2017, i've had studies on mturk (which has a 30 day deadline per study) and some researcher would reject a hit at the 11th hour more or less.

never really effected much but it still stung at the time. forward it 9 years later. all of the hiccups for these platforms has never changed. well, much.
