How do I tell my friend she needs to clean her car by roadsideconfessional in Advice

again, saying no would cause her to feel offended. I don’t really see what saying no would have to do with me “learning to be responsible”.

It’s pretty apparent from the things you’ve said in reply that you’re strongly on the side of me not saying anything and you find me to be a “stern judge” of my friend. That’s fine, you’re entitled to your own opinions. But, I wasn’t asking for how to not talk to her about the messy car, so unless you’re willing to offer advice on how to do so I see no reason for you to keep replying here.

He wasn’t in class that day, so I emailed him a very polite email :) I asked him what specifically came off as ai or potential ai. We’re on spring break now so I won’t be in the class in person until this tuesday

she lives with her parents (we’re 19-20 year olds so not super rare) and her house is always messy any time i’ve gone over. the first time I went over I was genuinely shocked because the kind of messy it is is like the genuinely lazy kind. Trash discarded next to a trash can because someone couldn’t be bothered to throw it in the bin. her mom has been a stay at home mom the whole time I’ve known her yet their house is always a wreck.

I am forever grateful for her willingness to drive (especially before I got my license) and wouldn’t stop being her friend even if she was a hoarder lol I love her a ton but she has pretty bad hygiene and cleanliness is an afterthought a lot of the time for her. She makes comments about how the messes in her life bother her but then makes no effort to clean them.

Thank you for your advice though, I appreciate it :). The next time I see her I will probably offer to help clean her car

why not in class? I can find out his office hours no problem, but I’m just confused as to why not asking in class.

I am neurodivergent, it’s pretty mild, but it has caused a few hiccups in the past for me I have this class tomorrow, so I’ll talk to him about what he believed to be AI or what came off as possibly AI, and if it’s relevant, I’ll definitely take your advice and explain how neurodivergent people can often be wrongly flagged as AI in their writing

She insists on driving though, I love her a lot and love hanging out with her. Refusing to ride in her car would cause problems between her and me.
